Sarah Kathryn Peterson, 80, of 4770 E 400 N, Monterey, IN, passed away at 10:38 PM Thursday, November 29, 2007 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Lafayette, IN.
She was born April 19, 1927, in Winamac, IN, to John and Jennie Moore Reinholt.
She married Amos J. Peterson on March 31, 1949, in Winamac, IN. He survives.
She was a member of the Lawton Christian Church, and was the former President of the Lawton Ladies Aide. She was the church pianist for many years. She also taught Sunday School.
She was a former Girl Scout Leader.
She was a former employee of Culver Military Academy Beason Park. She also worked at the field trials at the Winamac Fish and Wildlife Area.
She enjoyed camping, cooking, fishing, gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family.

Services will be held at 11AM EST Monday, December 3, 2007, in Frain Mortuary, Winamac, with Rev. Jarrel Hartle officiating.
Burial will take place in the McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac, IN.

LaVon Ruth Girton, 92, of 124 West Madison St., Winamac, IN, passed away at 11:20 PM Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac, IN.
She was born August 28, 1915, in Monticello, IN, to Henry and Harriet Cain Kellenburger.
She was married to Guy W. Girton on Dec. 24, 1936, in White County, IN. He died Apr. 6, 1986.
She lived most of her life in Winamac.
Survivors include Brian Girton, Lafayette, IN Grandson

Graveside Services will be held at 3PM EST Sunday, December 9, 2007, in Winamac Cemetery, Winamac, with Rev. Dan Burgess officiating.
Burial will take place in the Winamac Cemetery, Winamac, IN

Robert E. "Bert" Teske, 87, of 3058 N 1225 W, Medaryville, IN, passed away at 7:45 PM Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IN.
He was born September 11, 1920, in North Judson, IN, to Ernest and Helen Hartkopf Teske.
He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Medaryville, IN.
He lived in Medaryville most of his life.
He served in the US Amry Air Force as a radio operater during WWII.
He was a farmer all of his life.
He enjoyed fox hunting.

Services will be held at 11 AM EST Saturday, December 1, 2007, in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Medaryville, with Pastor George Halsted officiating.
Burial will take place in the St. Mark's Cemetery, Medaryville, IN
Friends may call 4-8PM EST Friday, November 30, 2007 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Medaryville, and one hour before the service Saturday at the church.

Betty L. Jensen, 55, of 7620 East 850 South, Monterey, IN, passed away at 1:05 PM Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Hickory Creek @ Winamac in Winamac, IN.
She was born July 21, 1952, in Knox, IN, to Sebern and Icie Bradley Bailey.
Betty went home to be with our Heavenly Father Nov. 27th.
She was married to Richard A. Jensen on Nov. 1, 1969 at St. Anne's Church, Monterey, IN.
She was well known for her creativity and wonderful sense of humor. Her yard was a wonderland for the young and young at heart. From her yellow brick road with munchkins to the goose who laid the golden egg, she put her own special touch on everything she did.
At one time she had been a cook at the Winamac Nursing Home and at the Pulaski Health Care Center. She also had been a sales associate at Mark's New Toto Stores in Toto, IN.

Services will be held at 11 AM EST Friday, November 30, 2007, in Frain Mortuary, Winamac, with Pastor Steve Cunnington officiating.
Burial will take place in the The Alexander Heinemann Memorial Cemetery, Ora, IN.

JIMMIE R. SHIDLER

Jimmie "Jim" R. Shidler, 68, of 2504 East Division Street, Star City, IN, passed away at 3:10 AM Sunday, November 25, 2007 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
He was born October 11, 1939, in Thornhope, IN, to Grover and Dora Ethel Spencer Shidler. He married Debra A. Galbreath on September 25, 1971 in Monticello, IN. Debra survives.
Jim was member of the FOE #2580 in Winamac, IN. Jim was a member of the Star City Church of Christ. He was retired from the Fulton-Marshall Co-op in Star City, IN. He was a former employee of Tee-Pak Co in Winamac, IN. Jim enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. He was an avid bowler. He enjoyed golfing and softball. Jim was a former Star City Volunteer fireman. He was very handy and was a good "fix-it" man. Jim enjoyed time with friends and family. He rarely missed his grandchildren's events. Jim liked to listen to old country music. Jim was an honest person and was strong in his faith.

ANNABELLE MAE FAGNER

Annabelle Mae Fagner, 86, of 624 E. 13th St., Winamac, IN, passed away at 4:40 AM Thursday, November 22, 2007 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac, IN.
She was born May 12, 1921, in Warren, IN, to William and Edna Back Pennington.
She was married to Russell Orville Fagner on Sept. 5, 1942 in Delong, IN. He died May 30, 1985.
She attended Ora Gospel Chapel. She was a 20 member of T.O.P.S. She was also a longtime member of the Pulaski Memorial Hospital Auxillary and volunteered as a Pink Lady at the hospital.
She was a retired seamstress and had worked at the Rice Corp. in Winamac and Hart, Shafner, and Marx in Rochester, IN.
She enjoyed playing the piano and violin. She was active in church activities and spent many hours volunteering. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
