MINNIE WIREMAN
Minnie Wireman, 74, of 14848 West 400 North, Medaryville, IN, passed away at 12:56 AM Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac, IN.
She was born April 11, 1933, in Salyersville, KY, to Adam and Pearly Joseph Wireman. She married Adam Wireman in 1949 in Kentucky. He died in 1972.
Minnie enjoyed gardening and caring for her chickens. She enjoyed spending time with her famiy.

DONALD GENE BEHNY
Donald Gene Behny, 83, of 1208 North Links Road, Winamac, IN, passed away at 6:00 PM Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac, IN.
He was born March 17, 1924, in Royal Center, IN, to Darrell and Martha Baughman Behny. He married JoAnn Lange on March 17, 1946 in Winamac. JoAnn survives.
Following graduation from Royal Center High School, Don attended Purdue University for 2 and 1/2 years. While at Purdue, Don was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. On March 17, 1946 in Winamac, Don married JoAnn Lange. Don was employed for 43 years at Hoch Farm Supply as a Salesman, then Vice-President and Manager. He retired in March 1986. Don was a member of the First Christian Church in Winamac and was a 50 year member of the Winamac Lodge 262 F& AM and was Past Patron of OES 96 in Winamac. Don was a past president of the Moss Creek Country Club in Winamac. Don was a little league baseball coach for several years. Don enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling and working in his yard. He also enjoyed time spent with his family. His favorite sports teams were the Boilermakers, Colts and Cubs.

Masonic Services will be held at 7PM Friday in the funeral home.

RONALD E. WEAVER
Ronald E. Weaver, 66, of 703 S. Franklin St., Winamac, IN, passed away at 1:45 PM Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at his residence.
He was born August 11, 1941, in Pulaski, IN, to Vincent and Mary Margaret O'Donnell Weaver.
He married Marty Poor on Feb. 23, 1963, in Winamac. She survives.
He was a lifelong resident of Pulaski County. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1959.
He was retired from Plymouth Tube Co. in Winamac after 43 years of employment. He also was the former owner of Marty's Place.
He was a member of the United Auto Worker's Union.

Valera M. Culp, 94, of 101 Constitution Drive, Francesville, IN, passed away at 10:15 AM Sunday, December 23, 2007 at Jasper County Hospital in Rensselaer, IN.
She was born September 8, 1913, in Francesville, IN, to Paul and Hannah Boehning Pelsy. She married Walter H. Culp on December 25, 1937 in Francesville. Walter died on September 8, 2004.
Valera was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Francesville, IN. She was a teacher at White Post and Gillam Township Schools. Valera enjoyed making comforters, gardening and spending time with her family.

Hannah Louise Poenix, 82, of 624 E. 13th St., Winamac, IN, passed away at 8:10 AM Friday, December 21, 2007 at Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac, IN.
She was born September 27, 1925, in Rensselaer, IN, to Calvin and Arrah Belle Southard Cain.
She was a member of First Christian Church, and the Red Hat Society at the Pulaski Health Care Center,Winamac, IN. She was a former member of the Pulaski Co. Chorus and a Home Ec Club in Fulton County.
She was a longtime resident of Star City, was formerly of Grass Creek, and had been a resident of Winamac since 1992.
She was a former employee of Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester, Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, and had been a receptionist for Dr. Eric Meister, Logansport, IN.
She enjoyed reading, playing bingo, and singing hymns. Hannah loved the Lord.
She was a resident of the Pulaski Health Care Center since 1999. She was loved by all the staff and was affectionately known as Hannah Banana. She will be remembered by her sunny disposition and he beautiful smile.
She went peacefully to be with the Lord on Friday morning.

Donald H. Ames, 73, of 209 North US 421, Francesville, IN, passed away at 11:00 Friday, December 21, 2007 at Parkview Haven Retirement Home in Francesville, IN.
He was born May 1, 1934, in Francesville, IN, to Herbert and Hilda Pingel Ames. He married Darlene J. Hanke on September 24, 1960 in North Judson, IN. Darlene survives.
Don was the Publisher, Editor and Owner of the Francesville Tribune Newspaper from 1971 until 1997. He continued to be associated with the newspaper until 2005. Don served in the US Navy aboard the USS Worcester during the Korean War. He was a member of the Francesville United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post 228 in Francesville. Don was a former Trustee of the church and was currently serving as a member of pastor/parish relations committee. He was a former member of the Hoosier State Press Association and the Indiana Republican Editorial Association. Don was the Grand Marshall of the Francesville Fall Festival Parade in 1999 and in 2007. He was a long time Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granchildren.
