Matthew T. Ruble
(June 14, 1977 - August 22, 2011)

Matthew T. Ruble, 34, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, August 22, 2011 after a lengthy battle with brain cancer. Matthew was born June 14, 1977 in Indianapolis, IN, the son of Pam and Tom Ruble.

Matthew was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Noblesville. He was a graduate of North Central High School and Indiana University.

In addition to his parents, Matthew is survived by two brothers, Adam and Nathan Ruble; a sister, Meghan Harrison (Christopher); and three nieces, Olivia, Ella and Abigail Ruble.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Matthew’s life Saturday, August 27, at 11:00 AM at Bethel Lutheran Church, 20650 Cumberland Road, Noblesville, IN. The family will also gather to share remembrances Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers, IN, and one hour prior to services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to: Bethel Lutheran Church Food Pantry, St. Vincent Foundation, U. S. Marines Toys for Tots, or Rupert’s Kids.

Marshall Guffey
(August 12, 1920 - August 23, 2011)

Marshall Guffey, 91, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. He was born on August 12, 1920 to Reather and Sophia (Loy) Guffey in Jamestown, Kentucky. On July 7, 1945, he married Rebecca Lawless.

Marshall proudly served his country in the Army during WWII, earning 2 Bronze Stars and the Victory Metal. He retired after working over 30 years for Firestone Industrial Products. Marshall was a member of Church Of God of Prophecy in Noblesville, and loved singing & playing the guitar.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Lawless) Guffey of Noblesville, IN; daughters, Nancy (Bobby) Schubert of Noblesville, IN, Kathy (Herman) Parsons of Sheridan, IN, and Patricia (Bobby) Murray of Noblesville, IN; son, Joe (Alecia) Guffey of Noblesville, IN; brothers, Carlton (Fettie) Guffey of Noblesville, IN, and Walter (Nora) Guffey of Louisville, KY; 11 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Marshall was preceded in death by his son, Danny Guffey; sister, Delphie Lawless; and brothers, Royal, Erman, Randall, Delmer & Porter Guffey.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 27, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Mike Hunsinger officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial with full military rites will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Michael Allen Stevenson
(Died September 16, 2011)

Michael Allen Stevenson, 46, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011 at home. He was born on July 31, 1965 to Jon and Norma (Farmer) Stevenson in Urbana, Illinois.

Michael was the owner of Mike's Light & Sound. He was a 1984 graduate of Mahomet-Seymore High School. He played drums in several bands in the Champaign-Urbana area; was a member of a car club where he won several trophies; and he did body work and painting vehicles for show.

He is survived by his mother, Norma Elaine Stevenson, brother, Scott (Jennifer) Stevenson, nephews, Brandon Stevenson & Logan Stevenson, and niece, Brianne Stevenson all of Noblesville, IN; uncle, Loren (Judy) Farmer of Ogden, IL; aunt, Ann (Robert) Jacobs of Bowling Green, KY; aunt, Patty (Jim) Farmer of Champaign, IL; and several cousins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Herbert and Marjorie Stevenson; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Evelyn Farmer; step-grandmother, Lorene Farmer; and uncle, Jim Farmer.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Michael will be laid to rest next to his father in the mausoleum in Roselawn Cemetery in Champaign, IL.

The family wishes to send special thanks to his band buddies Eric, Ed and Marshall for their support for many years.

Lori Adele Schloffel
(January 25, 1962 - September 16, 2011)

Lori Adele Schloffel, 49, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011 at home. She was born on January 25, 1962 to Robert and Dolores (Fowzer) Hursh in San Mateo, California.

Lori worked as a Accountant. She attended White River Christian Church and Harbour Shores Church. She was a member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Schloffel of Noblesville, IN; sons, Ryan Christopher Schloffel of Fishers, IN, and Andrew Michael Schloffel of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Dode (Tony) Souza of Atwater, CA; brothers, Randy (Hilda) Hursh of Davis, CA, and Mike (Nancy) Hursh of Oakley, CA; grandson, Christian Andrew Harris of Noblesville, IN; step-mother, Nancy Hursh of Hayward, CA; step-sisters, Lorie Boisse of Lathrop, CA, and Cherise Pearl of Lincoln, CA; and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, Lori was preceded in death by her brothers, Rob Hursh and Danny Hursh.

Services will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville with visitation from 5:00 pm to service time at the funeral home.

Joseph "Joe" Lee Napier
(February 27, 1961 - August 24, 2011)

Joseph "Joe" Lee Napier, 50, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at home. He was born on February 27, 1961 to Evan and Shirley (McKinney) Napier in Lee County, Virginia.

Joe was employed by Edwards Electric in Indianapolis, and enjoyed mechanics and carpentry. He was a member of Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Noblesville. Joe enjoyed various auto shows, and restoring his '62 Chevy truck. He loved his family, and his dogs, Prissy & Baby, his "children".

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Diane Napier of Noblesville, IN; sister, Mildred Ely of Pennington Gap, VA; sister, Evelyn Parks of Elwood, IN; sister, Mary Hoskins of Jonesville, VA; brother, David Napier of Elizabethton, TN; sister, Martha Elkins of Jonesville, VA; brother, Pete Napier of Blackwater, VA; sister, Rebecca Mooneyhan of Pennington Gap, VA; and several nieces & nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be at 2:00 pm Monday, August 29, 2011 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA, with visitation from noon to start of service. An additional visitation will be Saturday, August 27, 2011 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, IN. Burial will be at Bledsoe Cemetery in Jonesville, VA.

Memorial contributions may be made to his family.

Richard Huffer
(Died August 25, 2011)

Richard Huffer, 56, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at home. He was born on July 4, 1955 to Harold and Lorene (Klepfer) Huffer in Indianapolis.

Richard was a field technician for PAETEC.

He is survived by sister, Edna (Art) Baker; and nephew, Charles Baker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Alan Huffer.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers, with Pastor Kevin McKinney officiating. Visitation will be Monday, August 29, 2011 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.

George Edward Wiltermood, Jr.
(March 2, 1949 - August 27, 2011)

George Edward Wiltermood, Jr., 62, of Westfield, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at his home. He was born on March 2, 1949 to George E. and June R. (Erickson) Wiltermood in Universal, Indiana.

George played basketball for Eisenhower High School in Decatur, Illinois, where he graduated in 1967. He enlisted in the US Navy and served as a medical corpsman for four years. Part of his service was in Vietnam, where he received the Bronze Star.

He married Kathy Leeds who loved him dearly. They were blessed with four children: George L., Joseph Z., Kari L., and Richard W., all of whom survive. He was the proud grandpa of five grandchildren: Tyler, Kyle, Ethan, Zachary & Julia Rose.

George was a machinist for 26 years. He was a hard worker, a wonderful husband, and a dedicated father and grandfather. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

One sister, Janice Hutchins, survives. George was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joseph Wiltermood, and sisters, Ladene Stone and Donna Foster.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 10710 Shelborne Road, Carmel. Services will follow at 1:00 pm, with Bishop Rodney Flood officiating. Burial will be at Eagletown Cemetery in Westfield, with military rites.

Allan Blair
(Died September 16, 2011)

Allan J. Blair, 80, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011 at Allisonville Meadows in Fishers. He was born on January 3, 1931 to Alfred and Evelyn (Norton) Blair in Akron, Ohio.

Allan retired from Firestone Industrial Products in 1987, after 32 years of service. He was a member of Refuge Christian Church in Noblesville; a 50-year member of Noblesville Masonic Lodge #57 F&AM; a member of the Indianapolis Scottish Rite; and a former member of the Wayne Township Fire Department. He loved horses (especially Clydesdales & Belgians), and had worked with the Budweiser Clydesdale St. Louis Hitch.

He is survived by wife, Shirley Blair; daughters, Gail Ann Blair, Lisa Ann Blair & Leslie Susan (Mike) Huber; and granddaughter, Sidney M. Huber.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R Sutton officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home, with a Masonic service beginning at 8:00 pm. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
