James D. McKinnon
James Douglas McKinnon, 63, Noblesville, died on Monday November 21, 2011, more than 14 years after being diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. He courageously received three stem cell transplants during this time. He was born August 31, 1948 in Noblesville to Ernest and Vivian (Johnson) McKinnon. They preceded him in death.
Jim is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda (Parks) McKinnon; a son Michael Ballenger of Fishers; and two brothers, Ed McKinnon of Fishers and Terry (Donetta) McKinnon of Pendleton.
Jim was the Executive Vice-President and CFO of Community Bank in Noblesville. He was a graduate of Purdue University where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He was a past president of the Noblesville Sunrisers Kiwanis Club. Jim was an accomplished runner and triathlete before cancer forced his retirement from all sports activities.
A calling for friends and family will be held at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville on Monday, November 28, 2011 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, with a memorial service beginning at 7:00pm. Rev. Stan Sutton will officiate.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Avenue, 5th floor, Norwalk, CT 0651 or on their website, www.themmrf.org.
Amos C. Howard
Amos C. Howard, 89, of Westfield, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at his home. He was born on January 31, 1922 to Jack and Catherine (Harris) Howard in Noblesville, Indiana.
Amos graduated from Noblesville High School and worked as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service until he retired in 1973. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II and was a member of the Tuskegee Airmen. He was also a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in Noblesville. Amos was an honorary member of the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville. He served as the Chairman of the Inter-Church Council and also severed on numerous boards at Bethel A.M.E. Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Beverly Howard; sons, Kevin Howard & Denny Howard; grandsons, Kyle Howard, David Howard and Richard Simons; granddaughters, Lenore (Derrick) Williams, Melissa Howard and Nikki Woodson; a sister, Judith (Robert) Butler; eleven great-grandchildren; and twelve nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jacqueline Newsom.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 26, 2011, at Bethel A.M.E. Church Worship Center, 2200 Sheridan Rd. in Noblesville, with Rev. Mallory Tarrance officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, immediately prior to the service at the Worship Center.

Glenn Donald Johnson
Glenn Donald (Don) Johnson passed away November 20, 2011 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus. Don was born September 21, 1924 on a farm near Sheridan Indiana to Alma (Ponsler) and Floyd Johnson.
He graduated from Westfield High School where he participated in basketball and played tuba in the band. He was inducted into the Army November 18, 1943. He served with the Third Infantry Division in the European Theatre of Operations for six months working in a motor pool doing mechanical work. He made engine overhaul repairs on vehicles up to two and one half tons and worked under close combat conditions. His division spearheaded the First French Army's attack to wipe out the enemy pocket south of Strasburg in the winter of 1943 where his unit received the Presidential Citation Award. He also received a Purple Heart.
After completing his military service he returned home and married Doris Bradfield on August 18, 1946. They lived in the same location in Noblesville for their adult lives. Doris preceded him in death in 1989.
He and his brother Gene Johnson open Johnson's Garage on US 31. Later when US 31 became a four lane highway they rebuilt south at 216th Street and US 31and added a restaurant and towing service.
He is survived by one son James A. Johnson and his wife Deborah E. Johnson. Three grandchildren, Michael A. Johnson, Donald Isaac Johnson and Sophia Sharp (Adam) along with two great-grandchildren Meredith and Reese Sharp.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Eugene and one sister Virginia Manley.
He will be remembered as a resourceful, inventive and witty person who entertained everyone in his presence.
Funeral services will be Tuesday November 29, 2011 at 3:00 PM with visitation from 1:00 PM until service time at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center 1685 Westfield Road Noblesville, IN 46062. Burial with U S Army Honors will be in Hinkle Cemetery.

Harold F. Cherry
Harold F. Cherry, 90, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on February 9, 1921 to David and Rose Cherry in Woodbine, New Jersey.
Harold worked as an Engineer for Steris Company. He retired in 1987.
He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville and was also a member of American Institute of Chemical Engineers, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Cherry; two daughters: Karen Cherry LaFrance, and Mallory A. (husband, Clay) Hildreth, both of Noblesville; son, Brian D. Cherry of Beaver Falls, PA; and two grandchildren, Cooper and Kendall Hildreth.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, James LaFrance.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 4, 2011, at the Daily Mass Chapel in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street, Noblesville, with Father Chris Shocklee officiating. Inurnment will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Andres Ichiro Garcia-Hoshiko 5, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 in Indianapolis.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, November 4, 2011, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street, in Noblesville, with Rev. Tom Metzger officiating.
Jean D. Willingham-Roe
Jean D. Willingham-Roe, 87, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Kindred Healthcare in Indianapolis. She was born on April 18, 1924 to Forest and Iva (Alexander) Sharkey in Chicago, Illinois.
Jean was a homemaker and liked to play Bingo. She was a former Eastern Star member..
She is survived by daughter, Sharon (Jim) Hood; son, Carl (Terry) Willingham; granddaughters, Regina Ryan & Lisa Willingham; grandsons, Justin, Patrick, Carlos & Victor Hood; great-grandchildren, Jessica Ryan, Shawn Ryan, Britney Miller & Michael McShea; and, one great-great-granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Roe; and two grandchildren, Lisa Lashelle Holmes & Jeffery Willingham.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
Gladys V. Statzer
Gladys V. Statzer, 95, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. She was born on December 14, 1915 to Fairley and Ermine (Perkins) Sutton in Noblesville, Indiana.
Gladys had been a cook at Turtle Creek Nursing Home in Noblesville (which is now Riverwalk Village Nursing Home). She was a member of Noblesville Church of Christ and WAR Mothers of Noblesville.
She is survived by seven daughters, Nelda Franklin, Hope A. Andrews, Joyce S. Ramsey, Jewell I. Martin, Kitty B. Moore, Hilda J. Warner & Dixie S. Eldridge; two sons, Lauren P. Statzer & Sid F. Statzer; sister, Vera Morgan; and 223 grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Frank Statzer who passed away in 1977.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 27, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm prior to the service. Tony Eldridge will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Thomas E. Furst
Thomas E. Furst, 74, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Riverview Hospital, Noblesville. He was born on October 31, 1937 to Mike and Elizabeth Furst in Anderson, Indiana.
Thomas retired in 2003 from Pendleton Correctional Facility as a commercial refrigeration technician / heating cooling, with 48 years of service.
He is survived by daughter, Kathy (Dennis) Bennett, son, David Furst, sister, Nancy Chaney, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Judy Louise Furst, brother, Jim Furst, and two sisters, Anna Marie Furst & Caroline Eytchison.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Randall Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Visitation will be Saturday, November 5, 2011 beginning at 10:00 am prior to the service. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Bonnie Crouch
Bonnie M. Crouch, 89, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born on October 18, 1922 to Robert and Hilda (Tegeder) Gardner in Hamilton, Ohio.
Bonnie was a homemaker that loved shopping, crafting and her cat "Tommy Girl".
She is survived by daughter in law, Vickie Crouch, son, John Crouch Sr., sisters, Marjorie Sauter, Betty Burns, and Patti Wilson, brother, Robert Wehr, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, William R. Crouch Sr.and Ronald E. Crouch Sr., brother, Henry Gardner and sister, Dorothy Abney.
Care and final arrangements have been entrusted to Randall and Robert Westfield Road Funeral Center.
