Bruce Allen Pennington
Bruce Allen Pennington, 56, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012. He was born on July 30, 1955 to James and Deloris (Fuller) Pennington in Noblesville, Indiana.
Bruce was a life-long resident of Noblesville, and a 1974 graduate of Noblesville High School. He owned and operated the Silver Dollar Bar & Grill for 35 years, after his father, James Pennington. The Silver Dollar has been owned by the Pennington Family for nearly 50 years.
He is survived by wife, Wanda Pennington; daughter, Kelsey Pennington; brother, Brad Pennington, and many loving relatives & friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Lee Pennington, and Max Pennington.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Visitation will be Friday, July 6, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society for Hamilton County, 1721 Pleasant St., Suite B, Noblesville, IN 46060.
Nell E. Nuckols
Nell E. Nuckols, 83, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born on May 15, 1929 to Yancey and Faye (Snoddy) Furlong in Rocky Hill, Kentucky.
Nell was a homemaker and loved to bake. She had worked for Kings System in Noblesville and had also worked in the cafeteria at Noblesville High School. She was a member of Life Church in Fishers; and was an avid reader. She was always an encouragement to others and loved her family dearly.
She is survived by sons, Richard Nuckols, Jerry Leon (Debbie) Nuckols, Robert 'Bobby' (Deena) Nuckols & Daryl Wayne (Deborah) Nuckols; daughter, Dolores (Brice) Wright; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, James Nuckols who passed away in 2000; daughter, Sherry Nuckols who passed away in 1982; two brothers, Ralph & Robert Furlong; and two sisters, Virginia Edmonds & Frances Wright.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 6, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Visitation will be Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Clarence A. Barker
Clarence Fulton Barker, 87, Westfield, died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Maple Park Village in Westfield. He was born to the late Clarence A. and Helen M. (Fulton) Barker on June 4, 1925 in Westfield.
He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Clarence attained an Electronics Engineering degree from Purdue University, and was employed as an electronics inspector at Naval Avionics Facility in Indianapolis for 35 years. He was a member of Westfield Friends Church and attended Hinkle Creek Friends Church.
He is survived by his wife, Leota (McBride); three sons, Reid (Martha), Robert, and Doug; three daughters, Helen (Larry) Schirmer, Joyce (John) Story, and Rebecca (Lonnie) Brock; six grandsons, six granddaughters, a brother, Jack Barker, and a sister, Ruth Nesbitt. Clarence was preceded in death by a brother, Byron Barker, and a sister, Carolyn Howe.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Visitation will be Thursday, July 5, from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Summit Lawn Cemetery in Westfield.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hinkle Creek Friends Church or Westfield Friends Church.
Max E. Boatman
Max E. Boatman, 94, of Fishers, passed away at Hamilton Trace of Fishers on July 1, 2012. He was born on November 27, 1917 to Bert and Edith (Brunk) Boatman in Bloomfield, Iowa. He was married to Geneva (Whisler) Boatman for 56 years. She preceded him in death in 1996. He had been a resident of Indianapolis for 48 years.
Max was the owner of a sales company in Indianapolis. He proudly served his country with the United States Army from 1942-1945, and was a WWII veteran.
He is survived by daughter, Marsha L. (Boatman) Weinkauf of Westfield; grandchildren, Marc E. Weinkauf and Kara J. Burgher both of of Westfield, Indiana, Erin J. Richardson of Fort Hood Texas and Brent A. Weinkauf of Gretna, Virginia and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the Good Shepherd Chapel in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Rev. Kevin Haines will officiate. Burial with military rites will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
John B. Shaw
John B. Shaw, 71, died July 2nd, 2012. He was born on January 30th, 1941, in Warsaw, IN and grew up in Orleans, IN. John had been a resident of Noblesville, IN since 1990.
John was a graduate of Indiana State University. Following college he worked for Public Service of Indiana for a short time, followed by a career with Amoco Oil Company for 32 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bert L and Iola L Shaw.
He is survived by his wife Sandy, son David, daughter-in-law Angie, granddaughter Madison of Indianapolis, and his brother Jim Shaw and sister-in-law Jean Shaw of Naples, FL.
John loved spending time with his granddaughter any chance he got. He also enjoyed spending time in Ludington, MI on Hamlin Lake, and his winter months were spent in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
We will have a gathering at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church on Saturday July 7th, beginning at 10:00am through 12:00pm, followed by mass at noon. Directly following the service the church is hosting a luncheon.
In lieu of flowers, you may contribute to a memorial fund at Harris Bank in Noblesville, IN - c/o the John B. Shaw memorial fund. We will be placing a memorial bench in his name at Hamlin Lake in Ludington, MI - which was his favorite place in the world.
James 'Big Jim' Wilson
James A. 'Big Jim' Wilson, 83, of Westfield, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel. He was born on January 20, 1929 to James A. 'Pud' and Dora (Schurman) Wilson in Lafayette, Indiana. His parents precede him in death.
Jim was a 1947 graduate of West Lafayette High School and a 1951 graduate of Purdue University. He proudly served his country as a Captain in the U.S. Army and a Korean War veteran. Among his many accomplishments, he had been the Sports Announcer and Director for WSBT & WSBT TV in South Bend for nine years; the Sports Director and Anchor for WISH-TV in Indianapolis for 11 years; the CEO of a television production company for 11 years; and had worked independently as a producer/director until his retirement. He was named Sportscaster of the Year in Indiana five times by the National Sportscasters & Sportswriters Association, of which he was a charter member, and served on their governing board for 10 years. He had been the pit announcer for nationwide Indy Car racing for ABC-TV, CBS-TV, & TVS; and the pit announcer for nationwide Theater TV of the Indianapolis 500. He was a member and Past-President of the American Auto Racing Writers and Broadcasters Association and a member and current President of the Indianapolis 500 Oldtimers. He was also a member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Westfield; John Purdue Club; Purdue Alumni Association; Phi Gamma Delta; American Legion; Veterans of Foreign Wars; and the Indiana Broadcast Pioneers.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara Wilson; sons, Jim (Barbara) Wilson & Doug Wilson; daughter, Kathy (Ed) Collins; son, Joe Wilson; four grandchildren, Eddie Collins, Casey James Collins, Dylan Hobbs & Jessica Hobbs; and one great-grandchild, Landon Nealson.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 8, 2012, at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 4283 East 191st Street in Westfield, with Rev. Tim Krupski officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Westfield.

John Richard Williams
John Richard Williams, 85, of Westfield, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at St. Vincent Carmel Hospital in Carmel. He was born on April 7, 1927 in Noblesville.
John retired in 1990 after 36 years with Bridgestone Firestone, where he had been an inventory supervisor. He proudly served his country as part of the Navy Seabees, and was a WWII veteran. He was a member of the Little Eagle Creek Christian Church for over 70 years, where he had been an Elder Emeritus; a life-long member of the VFW Post #10207 in Westfield; a member of the Brunch Bunch Club; and member of the Do-Si-Squares Square Dancing Club for over 43 years.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Phoebe (DeMoss) Williams; son, Tim Williams; daughter, Becky (Rick) Fitzgerald; grandchildren, Paul (Vanessa) Fitzgerald, Alyssa (Lakshan) Salgado, & Scott (Alison) Fitzgerald; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lena (Conrad) Stultz; brother, Eugene Stultz; sister, Marjorie McCammack; and grandson, Bryan Chadwick.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Little Eagle Creek Christian Church in Westfield, with visitation beginning at 10:30 am immediately prior to the service. Rev. Stephen Yarbrough will officiate. Burial will be at Little Eagle Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 5635 W 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278; or, Little Eagle Creek Christian Church, 3233 West 166th Street, Westfield, IN 46074.
Stacy Marie Parsons
Stacy Marie Parsons, 32, of Fishers, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2012 at home in Fishers. She was born on October 1, 1979 to Steve and Pam (West) Whetzel in Peoria, Illinois.
Stacy was a student at Brown Mackie College.
She is survived by her parents, husband; Michael Parsons, daughter; Callie Ferraro, paternal grandmother; Gaynelle Whetzel and her brother; Chris (Karin) Whetzel.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 8, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers, with Rev. Stanley R Sutton officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
