Wallace A. "Wally" Bucher, 84, of 19 West Violet Street, Francesville, IN, passed away at 3:00 PM Monday, February 4, 2008 at his residence in Francesville, IN.

He was born July 10, 1923, in Kouts, IN, to Harry and Magdalen Stortz Bucher. He married Rosella Feller on August 3, 1947 in Cissna Park, IL. Rosella survives.

Wally moved to Francesville, IN in 1953 coming from Kouts, IN. He was the former owner and manager of the International Harvester dealership in Francesville. Wally was a former employee of the Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home in Francesville. Wally was a real estate broker, appraiser and auctioneer. Wall was an instructor at Feller Auction College in Kankakee, IL. He was the owner and operater of Bucher Realty and Auction in Francesville. Wally graduated from LaCrosse High School in 1941. He graduated from the Reisch American School of Auctioneering in 1959 and became a real estate broker in 1963. He served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army from 1945 until 1946. He served in Japan where he had as many as 35 enlisted men and Japanese under his direction. Wally was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Francesville, IN. He served on the Parkview Haven Retirement Home Board of Directors and the board of Pulaski West Developers, Inc. Wally served for many years as an auctioneer at the annual Apostolic Christian Children's Home benefit sale. He was a member of the Indiana Association of Realtors, the Indiana Auctioneers Association and the American Legion. Wally's life exemplified Colossians 3:23; "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord". He will be remembered for his generous spirit, kind ways, beautiful smile and wonderful sense of humor. Throughout his life he often entertained family and friends with his singing and guitar playing. He was an avid hunter and horseman. Wally also enjoyed working the daily crossword puzzle.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM EST Friday, February 8, 2008, in the Apostolic Christian Church, Francesville, with the Ministers of the Church officiating.

Burial will take place in the Roseland Cemetery located at Francesville, IN. Military graveside services will be conducted.

Friends may call 3-8 PM EST Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel-Francesville and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.

Memorial Contributions may be given to the Parkview Haven Retirement Home.

Lee T. Howe, 44, of 10382 Tiburon Drive, Florence, KY, formerly of Winamac and Indianapolis, IN, passed away at 4:30 PM Monday, February 4, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Hospice in Edgewood, KY.

He was born April 23, 1963, in Winamac, IN, to Jerry and Mary Ash Howe.

He was a controler for Duke Energy, Cincinnati, OH. He was employed at Duke Energy for over 22 years.

He was a member and Treasurer of the Florence (KY) United Methodist Church, and a member and coach in the Boone County Knothole Little League. He formerly coached Little League Baseball in Winamac, IN.

He graduated from Winamac Community High School in 1981 and from Ball State University in 1986.

He formerly resided in Indianapolis, and lived in Florence, Ky, for the past several years.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4PM EST Saturday, February 23, 2008, in Frain Mortuary. Friends may call from 2PM EST until the time of the service on Saturday, February 23, 2008.

Lovetta Allien Gilman, 86, of 5514 East 450 South, Star City, IN, passed away at 4;20 AM Friday, January 25, 2008 at Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac, IN.

She was born March 19, 1921, in Brook, IN, to Clarence and Jesse Dowell Palmer. Lovetta married William Keith Gilman on January 1, 1940 in Brook, IN. Mr. Gilman died on October 21, 1989.

She was a member of the Star City United Methodist Church and was a past president of the United Methodist Women. Lovetta was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Womens Book Club and served on the board of PARC in Winamac. She was an avid reader, and euchre player. Lovetta enjoyed spending time with her family.

Russell Leroy Large, 59, of 11710 E. Colfax Ave., Aurora, CO, passed away at 11:54 AM Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at his residence.

He was born July 7, 1948, in Plymouth, IN, to Herman and Evelyn Wagner Large.

He worked for Superior Laundry as a maintenance technician, in Aurora, CO. He also worked many years in general contracting.

He served in the US Army for 12 years.

He moved to Colorado in 1978. He was a former resident of Knox,IN.

Lauramay Koebcke, 89, of 7082 W 100 S , Kewanna, IN, passed away at 4:20 PM Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN.

She was born September 24, 1918, in Redkey, IN, to Lewis C. and Sylvia Berrier Wandrey. She married Russell Edward Koebcke on December 17, 1938 in Valparaiso, IN. Russell died August 4, 2005.

Lauramay was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Winamac, IN and a member of the women's guild and the alter guild of the church. She enjoyed playing cards, reading and crocheting. Lauramay enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
