Catherine 'Cat' Trottier
(Died June 27, 2012)

Catherine M. 'Cat' Trottier, of Fishers, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at home. She was born on April 24 to Robert and Mildred (Zapfel) Brown in Indianapolis.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Monty Trottier; daughter, Ryley Trottier; son, Jordy Trottier; and sisters, Deborah (Terry) Short & Therese Argus.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers.

Memorial contributions may be made to Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 204, Norwood, NJ 07648.

Bruce Allen Pennington
(July 30, 1955 - June 30, 2012)

Bruce Allen Pennington, 56, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012. He was born on July 30, 1955 to James and Deloris (Fuller) Pennington in Noblesville, Indiana.

Bruce was a life-long resident of Noblesville, and a 1974 graduate of Noblesville High School. He owned and operated the Silver Dollar Bar & Grill for 35 years, after his father, James Pennington. The Silver Dollar has been owned by the Pennington Family for nearly 50 years.

He is survived by wife, Wanda Pennington; daughter, Kelsey Pennington; brother, Brad Pennington, and many loving relatives & friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Lee Pennington, and Max Pennington.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Visitation will be Friday, July 6, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society for Hamilton County, 1721 Pleasant St., Suite B, Noblesville, IN 46060.

Robert Winfred Dotson
(Died July 24, 2012)

Robert Winfred Dotson, 84, of Noblesville and formerly of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the Indiana Heart Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Robert was born in Wise Co. Virginia on June 22, 1928 to the late Daniel A. and Ida (Mullins) Dotson.

He retired from Ford Motor Company after 18 years, following many years as a coal miner in Virginia, Kentucky and West Virginia. Robert loved serving the Lord and attended Victory Baptist Church in Noblesville and various other churches.

Survived by his wife of 3 ½ years, Callie M Dotson; daughter, Louise (Jim) Sizemore of Buffalo, South Carolina; daughter, Peggy (Gary) Huffman of Greenfield; son, Ronnie (Rhonda) Dotson of Gwynneville; daughter, Tricia (Robby) Raney of Greenfield; step-son, Mark Lawson of Noblesville; step-daughter, Brenda Pennington of Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Lena Belle Dotson who died in 2007; two sons, Robert Jr. Dotson, who died in 2006 and Billy Wayne Dotson, who died in 1956; five brothers; and five sisters.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Darrell Jones of Victory Baptist Church of Noblesville officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robert’s name to The Indiana Heart Hospital, 1500 N Ritter Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46219.

Nell E. Nuckols
(Died June 30, 2012)

Nell E. Nuckols, 83, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born on May 15, 1929 to Yancey and Faye (Snoddy) Furlong in Rocky Hill, Kentucky.

Nell was a homemaker and loved to bake. She had worked for Kings System in Noblesville and had also worked in the cafeteria at Noblesville High School. She was a member of Life Church in Fishers; and was an avid reader. She was always an encouragement to others and loved her family dearly.

She is survived by sons, Richard Nuckols, Jerry Leon (Debbie) Nuckols, Robert 'Bobby' (Deena) Nuckols & Daryl Wayne (Deborah) Nuckols; daughter, Dolores (Brice) Wright; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, James Nuckols who passed away in 2000; daughter, Sherry Nuckols who passed away in 1982; two brothers, Ralph & Robert Furlong; and two sisters, Virginia Edmonds & Frances Wright.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 6, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Visitation will be Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.

Laurel A. Ranker
(Died July 26, 2012)

Laurel A. (Shorsher) Ranker, 65, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at home. She was born on April 8, 1947 to George and Dorothy (Ellis) Shorsher in Ashland, Ohio. Her father preceded her in death.

Laurel had been a sales rep for the Noblesville Ledger for nine years and the Indianapolis Star for 15 years. She had also been a bank teller at several different banks.

She is survived by her husband, Charles E Ranker; mother, Dorothy Shorsher; son, Brian Ranker; daughter, Heather (Mark) Clark; brother, Kenneth (Denise) Shorsher; sister, Kathy Zimmer; and grandchildren, Cole Ranker, Sarah Ranker, Jack Clark & Luke Clark.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with Pastor Derek Lynas officiating. Visitation will be Monday, July 30, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home, and also 9:00 am to 10:00 am prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Clarence A. Barker
(June 4, 1925 - June 30, 2012)

Clarence Fulton Barker, 87, Westfield, died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Maple Park Village in Westfield. He was born to the late Clarence A. and Helen M. (Fulton) Barker on June 4, 1925 in Westfield.

He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Clarence attained an Electronics Engineering degree from Purdue University, and was employed as an electronics inspector at Naval Avionics Facility in Indianapolis for 35 years. He was a member of Westfield Friends Church and attended Hinkle Creek Friends Church.

He is survived by his wife, Leota (McBride); three sons, Reid (Martha), Robert, and Doug; three daughters, Helen (Larry) Schirmer, Joyce (John) Story, and Rebecca (Lonnie) Brock; six grandsons, six granddaughters, a brother, Jack Barker, and a sister, Ruth Nesbitt. Clarence was preceded in death by a brother, Byron Barker, and a sister, Carolyn Howe.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Visitation will be Thursday, July 5, from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Summit Lawn Cemetery in Westfield.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hinkle Creek Friends Church or Westfield Friends Church.

Allison 'Alli' Burnand
(Died July 27, 2012)

Allison 'Alli' Burnand, 22, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on July 31, 1989 to Robert 'Bob' and Lisa (Wint) Burnand in Woodbridge, Virginia.

Alli was a hairstylist. She loved life and was a best friend to everyone she met.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Emerson Reed; two sisters, Marissa Burnand & Rylee Burnand; and grandparents, Mary Jane Wint, Robert Wint, &
Judi (Roger) Edgington.

Alli was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Burnand.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Faith Community, 19201 Promise Road in Noblesville, with Pastor Patrick Probst officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville.

Memorial contributions may be made to a college fund for her son, Emerson, c/o Huntington Bank.
