Anna Belle Cole
Boonville resident Anna Belle Cole passed away on Monday, April 21 at the Baker's Rest Haven in Boonville. She was 94.
Anna was born April 15, 1919 in Evansville to George and Nettie Clary. She was a 1937 graduate of Bosse High School and after graduation worked for Crown Pottery. Anna was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the First Christian Church in Evansville where she was also baptized. She married James C. Cole on Dec.18, 1948. She and her husband, who served in the Army, had many travels including overseas travel to Okinawa, Japan. She was a homemaker and enjoyed dancing. Anna Belle never met a stranger and was a compassionate lady who dearly loved her family.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Susie Peerman and her husband, John; her son, Jim Cole and his wife, Valerie; four grandchildren, Shelly Marksbury and her husband, Tom, Cole Peerman, Jacob Peerman, and Autumn Cole; two great-grandchildren, Samantha and Payton Marksbury. Anna was preceded in death by her husband James in 1961; her brother William "Bill" Clary and a sister, Margaret Buedel.
The family would like to thank the employees of Baker's Rest Haven for their loving care of Anna Belle. Services were held Wednesday, April 23 at 1 p.m. at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel in Evansville with Rev. Simon Leon officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery in Evansville.

Clara Ziliak
Dale resident Clara Ruth Ziliak died Saturday, June 14 at Jasper Memorial Hospital. She was 65.
Clara was born in Derby on July 29, 1937 to Virgil and Alberta Simpson. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family.
Clara is survived by her husband of 22 years, Donald Ziliak of Dale; two sons, Darryl Adams of Boonville and Dale Adams of Valiant, Okla.; two daughters, Sherry Barnhart of Cabot, Ark., and Shelly Cooper of Dale; three stepsons, Bob Ziliak of Fort Branch, Randy Ziliak of Haubstadt and Ryan Ziliak of Minot, N.D.; nine grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; one sister, Betty Naegele of Tell City; one brother, Jim Simpson of Tell City; two nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 17 at the Fuller Funeral Home and Crematory in Dale, with Rev. Marvin Greene officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of the Lincolnland Worship Center in Santa Claus.
Deborah K. Williams
Former Warrick County resident Deborah K. Williams died Thursday, Dec. 26 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City. She was 47.
Debbie was born August 25, 1955 in Warrick County to the late Cecil and Thelma Munday Harper. Also preceding her in death were her aunt and uncle, Helen and Albert Harper, who helped raise her, and a son, Scott Rylan Williams, in infancy in 1986. She was a former manager at Wendy's in Evansville and was a 1973 graduate of Boonville High School. Debbie was a leader with the Mount Pleasant 4-H Club and an active 4-H volunteer during many activities.
Deborah is survived by her husband of 22 years, Marty Williams of Mt. Pleasant, Ind.; a son, Jason Williams of Mt. Pleasant; and three brothers, Ronald Harper, Sr. of Chandler; Ed Harper of Snellville, Ga., and Dennis Harris of Boonville.
Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 28 at Huber Funeral Home-Cannelton Chapel, with burial in St. Mary Cemetery in Tell City. Rev. William Carlisle officiated.
Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County 4-H Fairgrounds.
Charles F. Murphy, Sr.
Boonville resident Charles F. Murphy, Sr. died Wednesday, Dec. 25 at his home. He was 73.
Charles is survived by a daughter, Barbara Crump of Tennyson; two sons, Charles F. Jr. and Steven Murphy, both of Boonville; a sister, Lois Jones of Evansville; a brother, Cecil Murphy of Newburgh; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 28 at Koehler Funeral Home-Boonville Chapel. Burial was at New Hope Cemetery in Grandview with Rev. William L. Carlisle officiating.
Carl "Ed" Blackford
Chandler resident died Wednesday, Dec. 25 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. He was 70.
Ed attended the Church of God in Evansville. Ed was a member of the Boonville VFW Post 3418, Yellow Banks Fishing Hole Club, and a member of Teamsters Local 215 for 32 years. He was also a veteran of Korea Armored Division.
Ed is survived by his wife of 48 years, Anita Blackford of Chandler; a daughter, Cindy Blackford of Newburgh; two sons, Douglas Blackford of Bradenton, Fla., and Dwayne Blackford of Chandler; 7 grandchildren, Buddy Crow, Douglas Blackford, II, Jaclyn Blackford, Cortney Blackford, Hunter Blackford, Cody Blackford, and Taylor Blackford-Summer; six great grandchildren; 1 brother, Perry Blackford of Evansville; three half brothers, Danny Schmett of Grayville, Ill., David Schmett of Evansville, and William Schmett of Newburgh; and an uncle, Dewey Crowe.
Funeral services were Saturday Dec. 28 at Koehler Funeral Home-Perigo Chapel. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in Chandler with Rev. Bill Heard officiating and military rites by the Warrick County Veterans Memorial Services.

Virginia Brown
Former Evansville resident Virginia S. "Susie" (Crider) Brown died Saturday, Feb. 9 in Safety Harbor, Fla. She was 66.
She is survived by two daughters, Paulette Brown Sudduth of Safety Harbor and Scarlet L. George of Clearwater, Fla.; three sons, Richard L. of Dunedin, Fla., Steven R. of Englewood, Fla., and Donn of Lafayette; her mother, Pauline G. Crider of Evansville; two brothers, Bruce Crider of Evansville and Bill Crider of Newburgh; two sisters, Georgia Mitchell of Mount Gay, W. Va. and Ruth Boyd of Evansville; and seven grandchildren.
Private funeral services were held Friday, March 1 at Simpson Funeral Home Newburgh Chapel.
Karla Myres
Boonville resident Karla Raye (Gowen) Myres died Saturday, Nov. 2, in Sevierville, Tenn., from injuries sustained in a pedestrian traffic accident. She was 37.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn Myres of Seymour, Tenn.; her parents, Charles (Tom) and Barbara Gowen of Boonville; two sons, Ethan and Sam Myres, both at home; several former foster children; a sister, Kimberly Suszanne Pierce of Boonville; a brother, Kenny T. Gowen of Elberfeld; three nieces; three nephews and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 7, at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel. Burial was in James Parker Cemetery in Hatfield.
