Ada Kerr
Ada Kerr, 98, of 437 Bent St., Wabash, Indiana, died Sunday, April 5, 1998 at Wabash County Hospital. She was born Aug. 3, 1899 at Geneseo, Illinois to Jerome and Mary (Briggs) Burnworth.
She was a homemaker, mar-ried to Jacob C. Kerr Nov. 17, 1919; he died April 17, 1991.
Survivors include three daughters - Mrs. Clyde (Evelyn B.) Sanders, Mrs. Deloris Tait, and Mrs. Leonard (Maxine) Novak, all of Wabash; a sister, Helen Scott of Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester; 12 grandchil-dren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 28 great-great grandchil-dren. She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at the Eddingfield-DeLaughter Mortuary, 231 Falls Ave., Wabash today (Wednesday) April 8, 1998 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.. The funeral will be held at the Mortuary Thursday, April 9, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. David Phillips officiating.
Burial will be in Friends Cemetery, Wabash.
Truby G. Isaac
Truby G. Isaac, 39, 549 E. State St., Huntington, died Tuesday, April 21, 1998 at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne. He was born August 29, 1958 at Hall, KY to Manderd and the late Lizzie (Castle) Isaac.
He was a production employee at Majestic Company of Huntington, IN, married to Drucilla A. Bonewitz Nov. 23, 1986.
He is survived by his wife; four sons - James Cordill, Truby Isaac, Kalem Isaac, and Donald Isaac, at home; brothers, Charlie Isaac, David Isaac, Junior Isaac, all of Jackson, OH and Tommy Castle of Weekberry, KY; sisters Jeanie Isaac of Ohio, Ruthie Castle and Rita Castle of Weekberry, KY.

Opal C. Conley
Opal C. Conley, 8280E U.S. 30, Pierceton, IN, died Tuesday, April 7, 1998 at her home. She was born Sept. 16,1945 at Bonanza, KY to Fred and Myrtle (Manns) Conley. She was a machine operator at Preferred Technical Group of Columbia City, IN for nine years.
She was a member of the Free United Baptist Church of Packerton, IN,
She is survived by three daughters - Mrs. Steven (Sheila) Crowe and Mrs. Todd (Renae) Warren, both of Leesburg, IN, and Arvellia Bradley of Warsaw; four brothers - Rev. Amos Conley of Ardmore, AL, Norman Conley of Chattanooga, TN, Alfred Conley of Macy, IN and Jerry Conley of Silver Lake, IN; seven sisters - Zefie Jackson and Mrs. Bill (Christine) Cornell, both of Akron, IN, Mrs. Don (Gracie) Jackson of Roann, Mrs. Bruce (Izinia) Thornton of Peru, Lorene Tesh, Mrs. Junior (Martha) Hancock, and Mrs. Jerry (Nancy) Pennington, all of North Manchester; and seven grand-children.

Edna V. Blocher Garber
Edna V. Blocher Garber, 77, of 11984 Old Dayton Road, Brookville, OH, died Tuesday, April 7, 1998 at Brook Haven Nursing & Care Center of Brookville, OH. She was born May 26, 1920 in Miami County, IN to Lester R. and Nettie (Ulrey) Kinzie.
She married Isaac L. Blocher Jan. 17, 1954 at the home of her parents in Cass County, IN; he died Sept. 12, 1984. She then married Earl Garber Oct. 12, 1986 in North Manchester. From North Manchester, she went to live in Brookville, OH in 1986. She was a homemaker and a member of the Wolf Creek District of the Old German Baptist Church of Brookville, OH.
She is survived by her hus-band, Earl Garber of Brookville, OH; a son, Kevin Blocher of Troutville, VA; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Susan) Hubbard of Troutville, VA; stepsons Eugene Garber and Ronald Garber of Brookville, OH; stepdaughters Mary Ann Balsbaugh and Ella Mae Stutz of Brookville, OH; brothers Edward A. Kinzie of Logansport, John H. Kinzie of North Manchester, Wayne W. Kinzie of Goshen, IN and Ronald C. Kinzie of Cleveland, GA; two sisters, Mrs. Russell (Evah) Rinehart of Lafayette, IN and Mrs. Nina L. Hess of Delphi, IN; eight grandchildren, 16 step grandchildren, and 23 step great grandchil-dren. One brother preceded her in death.

Billy J. Bunch
Billy J. Bunch, 74, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, April 7, 1998 at Parkview Memorial Hospital. He had been ill for the past month. He was born August 5, 1923 in North Judson, IN, a son of Lester R. and Violet (Gem Wilcox) Bunch. He graduated from Laketon High School in 1941.
He was employed at Eaton Controls in North Manchester for 11 years. Beginning in 1973, he was employed at Precision Plastics, Columbia City, for a number of years. His last employment was with I.D.M. in Fort Wayne.
On February 5, 1944 he married Betty R. Blickenstaff. They resided in Marion, North Manchester, Columbia City and for the past eight years in Fort Wayne.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; four daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Karen) Stoldt of Somerset, IN, Mrs. Pashalis (Dianna) Evangelidis of Fort Wayne, Mrs. Michael (Judy A.) Rucker of Columbia City, and Mrs. Jeffrey (Toni R.) Vachon of New Haven; a son, John W. Bunch of Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Leland (Bonnie) Corbin of Cincinnati, OH. He was pre-ceded in death by a brother, Robert Bunch and two sisters, Betty Amann and Ruth Gray, and a half sister, Helen Russell.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 9, 1998 at 11 a.m. at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City with Rev. Jean Moorman Brindel, pastor of Leo United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in South Whitley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the funeral home.

Former Vocational Agriculture teacher at Manchester High School, and currently serving as a Manchester Community Schools Board member, he died Tuesday, May 12, 1998 at 5:50 p.m. at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.
Wolfgang Mueller
Wolfgang Mueller, 42, of Durham, N.C. and formerly of North Manchester, IN, died Sept. 28, 1996 at his residence in Durham. He was cremated at the time. He was born Feb. 3, 1954 at Varel, Germany to the late Johannes Mueller and Hannelore (Dubig) Mueller of Durham, N.C. He was a vet-eran of the U.S. Air Force.
He married Gwendolyn Philyan who survives, along with a daughter Kimber Mueller of Brendon, FL; and a sister Christine Robinett of St. Albans, W.V. One sister, Petra Mueller died in 1968.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, May 16, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, with Rev. Jeffrey Hawkins of-ficiating.

William E. Stone
William E. Stone, 50, of 504 Singer Road, North Manchester, IN died Wednesday, May 6, 1998 at his residence. He was born Sept. 16, 1947 at Logan, WV to the late John Wesley Stone and Violet (Kitchen) Stone of Logan, WV.
He married Glenda Gillum October 8, 1967 in Lincoln Park, MI. He was a 1966 grad-uate of Logan High School in Logan, WV. He was a member of Oil, Chemical and Atomic Workers Union at Laketon Refinery. He was a member of Moose Lodge #1518 in North Manchester. He was currently employed as an operator at the Laketon Refinery.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda of North Manchester; his mother, Violet Stone of Logan, WV; sons John Wesley Stone II and his wife Bobbi of Columbia City; and Brandon J. Stone and wife Michelle of Wabash; a brother, Elmer Stone of Sarah Ann, WV; and three grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Sunday, My 10, 1998 at the Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor J.P. Freeman offi-ciating. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery, N. Manchester.

LeRoy D. Ward
LeRoy Duyane Ward, 74, of 532 N. Parker St., Warsaw, IN, died Saturday, May 2, 1998 in Nassau, Bahamas. He was born July 10, 1923 at Huntington County, Indiana to Clifford and Icy (Gilbert) Ward. He married Mary O. Wall March 7, 1942 and she died October 18, 1992; he then married on January 15, 1994 Jean Reich who died July 4, 1997. He was currently married to Dorothy Symons as of Nov. 15, 1997. He had resided in Warsaw for one year, having retired from United Technology of North Manchester; Ace Hardware of North Manchester, and was currently employed at Miller's Merry manor of Warsaw. He attended First Baptist Church of Warsaw.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Warsaw, IN; two daughters, Mrs. Glen (Suzi) Ashby and Mary Titus, both of Warsaw; a step son, Tom Symons of Warsaw; two grandchildren - Mitch Titus and Amber Titus; two great-grandchildren, and one step-great-granddaughter.
Funeral service was held Friday, May 8, 1998 at the Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw with Pastor Karl Kloppmann officiating. Burial was in Roann Community Cemetery of Roann, IN.

Mark A. Elliott
Mark Allen Elliott, 26, of 3268E 500N, Urbana, IN, died April 19, 1999 at Wabash County Hospital, Wabash, IN. He was born Jan. 6, 1973 at Wabash to Stuart and Debra (Wilhelm) Elliott.
Mark attended the Roann Church of the Brethren. He was a 1992 graduate of Northfield High School.
Survivors include his parents, Stuart and Debra Elliott of Urbana; sisters, Stacie Frehse of Roann, and Melissa Elliott of Urbana; a brother Jason Elliott of Urbana; grandparents Dean and Sue Wilhelm of Roann and James and Marjorie Bridge of Logansport; and great-great grandmother, Lois Fickle of Royal Center, IN.

Crystal Shoemaker
Crystal Shoemaker, 86, of 405 E. Main St., Silver Lake, IN, died Thursday, April 15, 1999 at her residence. She was born at Plymouth, IN Dec. 2, 1912 to Thurlow and Raydell (Ward) Shoemaker.
She was a 1931 graduate of Claypool High School, and attended Manchester College. She was affiliated with the United Methodist Church. She had worked for her father at his pharmacy in Claypool. A poet, she had two books published - "Songs of Soul" in 1938, and "Songs of the Season" in 1968.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Luella Shoemaker of Leesburg, IN. A brother preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, April 25, 1999 at 7:00 p.m. at the DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, Silver Lake Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Jarboe officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool, IN.

Carl R. Nobles
Carl R. Nobles, 96, of Timbercrest Retirement Community, North Manchester, IN, died Thursday, April 15, 1999 at Timbercrest Healthcare Center. He was born Nov. 24, 1902 at Fort Wayne to Perry C. and Elnora (Zumbrun) Nobles. He married Edna P. Hart Oct. 10, 1929, and she survives.
Mr. Nobles was a member of the Manchester Church of the Brethren. He was retired from Kroger Company in Ft. Wayne after 38 years of service. Following retirement, he worked part-time at the D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes in Ft. Wayne.
In addition to his wife, Edna, he is survived by three sons - Roland H. and Donald P. Nobles, both of Ft. Wayne; and Noel R. Nobles of Mission Viejo, CA.; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Two sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral service was held Tuesday, April 20, 1999 at Timbercrest Chapel, with the Rev. Charles Lunkley officiating. Burial was in Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam, IN.
