Wilburn Longworth
Wilburn Longworth, age 83, of Richmond, died Saturday morning (October 11, 2003) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Kentucky on August 29, 1920 to Richard and Virginia Nix Longworth and had lived here most of his life.
He was a retired employee of Belden Wire and Cable. His wife, Leona M. Chaney Longworth, died on June 22, 1975. His second wife, Mary Alice Smith Longworth, died in November of 2001.
Survivors include: Daughters – Janice Ann (husband Ronald) Moore of Richmond
Sharon Kaye Cain of West Palm Beach, Florida
Sons – Denny Lee (wife Sandra) Longworth of Newberry, Florida
Jerry Allen (wife Elaine) Longworth of Richmond
Sisters – Maburn Noe of Lafollette, Tennessee
June Duncan of Middlesboro, Kentucky

Services will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday (October 14, 2003) in Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday (October 13, 2003) from 5 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
William K. Stultz
William K. Stultz, age 90, formerly of Richmond, died Wednesday (October 22, 2003) at his residence in Rising Sun, Indiana. He was born in Lawrence County, Indiana on February 17, 1913 to Augusta and Anna Deckard Stultz and had lived in Richmond most of his life before moving to Rising Sun after his retirement. He was a retired employee of the Richmond Police Department where he served as Chief from 1964 – 1967. He also retired from Richmond State Hospital where he worked in the carpenter shop. He was a former member of the Centerville Lions Club where he was honored as a Melvin Jones Fellow in 1996 and he was an honorary member of the Fraternal Order of Police. His wife, Laurella Stultz, died in 1998.
Survivors include: Daughter – Joanne Hamilton of Rising Sun, Indiana
Brother – Vern Stultz of Bedford, Indiana
Special friend – Cassandra Morgan of Richmond

A grandson, William J. Hamilton, is also deceased.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday (October 25, 2003) in Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Rogers Durham will officiate. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville. Friends may call on Friday (October 24, 2003) from 4 – 8 pm at the funeral home. A memorial service will also be conducted on Sunday November 2, 2003 at 2:00 pm in the Pavilion on the River at Rising Sun, Indiana.
Clinton E. Austin
Clinton E. Austin, age 99, formerly of Richmond, died Tuesday (October 21, 2003) at Lauderdale Lakes, Florida.
Survivors include his wife – Louise Nieman Austin

Private services will be held in Lutherania Cemetery. Pastor Jeff Gramza will officiate. Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary is handling arrangements.
Cord Morris, Jr.
Cord Morris, Jr., age 69, of Richmond, died Saturday morning (October 25, 2003) at the home of his daughter. He was born in Bateville, Kentucky on July 9, 1934 to Cord Sr, and May Spencer Morris and had lived in this area most of his life. He had worked in construction and was a member of Laborers Local 1047. He was a member of First Southern Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Daughters – Carol Ann Ellis of Harrison, Ohio

Phyllis L. Metz
Phyllis L. Metz, age 84, of Richmond, died Saturday (November 1, 2003) at Reid Hospital.
She was born in Modoc, Indiana on March 21, 1919 to Warder and Mae Conwell Wright and had lived here most of her life. She was a graduate of Cambridge City High School and she was a homemaker.
Survivors include: Husband – Robert Metz (to whom she was married 66 years)
Son – James Metz of Logansport, Indiana
Daughters – Carolyn Pennington of Greenwood, Indiana
Diana Pennington of McDonough, Georgia
Sister - Adeen Campbell of Richmond 9 Grandchildren

A son, Max Metz, died in April 1979. Three sisters and a brother are also deceased.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday (November 6, 2003) at Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary. Father Todd Riebe will officiate. Burial will be in Saint Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday (November 5, 2003) from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
Violet Ghearing
Violet Ghearing, age 92, formerly of Richmond, died Monday (November 10, 2003) in Bartlett, Tennessee.
Survivors include four daughter, four sons, a sister, four brothers, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Her husband, William Ghearing Jr., died in 1968.
Services will be held on Friday (November 14, 2003) in Southaven, Mississippi. Burial will be in Saint Mary Cemetery in Richmond, Indiana. Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary is in charge of local arrangements.
Lonnie C. Musselwhite
Lonnie C. Musselwhite, age 41, of Richmond, died Saturday (November 15, 2003) at his residence. He was born on March 21, 1962 in Miami, Florida to Thomas and Marion Smith Musselwhite and had lived in this area for the past 6 years. He had worked in construction and maintenance for Alter Properties.

Daughters – Nicholl Musselwhite of Richmond

Brandi Musselwhite of Richmond
Sons – Jason Musselwhite of Richmond

Nieces & Nephews including special nephew Chris Musselwhite of Richmond
His step-father who raised him, Leslie Toth, is also deceased
Services will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday (November 20, 2003) at the Musselwhite home, 1209 South “O” Street. Rev. Jim Gard will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call at the home (1209 South “O” Street) on Thursday (November 20, 2003) from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
