Arlie G. Gross
Arlie G. Gross, age 62, of Richmond, died Sunday morning (February 22, 2004) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Richmond on September 19, 1941 to Raymond and Ruth Constable Gross and had lived here all of his life. He had worked for Sparkle Car Wash and for the Richmond Sanitation Department. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge and of the Druids Lodge.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday (February 25, 2004) in Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday (February 24, 2004) from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home
William C. Holliday
William C. Holliday, age 76, of Richmond, died Friday (April 2, 2004) at Reid Hospital. He was born on January 1, 1928 in Abington, Indiana to William Clarence and Alice Woods Holliday and had lived in this area all of his life. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II and he was a retired employee of the US Postal Service. He was also a long-time activities volunteer at Golden Rule – Beverly Healthcare.
Survivors include – Wife – Emma Holliday to whom he was married 38 years

Odis Lady, age 75, of Richmond, died unexpectedly Saturday evening (April 3, 2004) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Jackson County, Kentucky on September 17, 1928 to Newton and Lucy Lynch Lady and had lived in this area most of his life. He was self-employed. His wife, Mary Hicks Lady, died in 1983.

Georgia I. Harris, age 58, of Richmond, died Saturday (March 13, 2004) at Reid Hospital. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on April 17, 1945 to Lawrence and Imogene Baker Burke and had lived in Richmond for the past 4 years.

Hubert L. Byrd, Jr.
Hubert L. Byrd, Jr. age 47, of San Antonio, Texas, died there on Sunday (March 28, 2004). He was born on April 30, 1956 in Winchester, Indiana to Rev. Hubert L. Byrd, Sr., and Helen L. Poppaw Byrd. He had lived in San Antonio for the past eight years and he was a veteran of the US Army.

Elmer V. Quinter
Elmer V. Quinter, age 77, of Richmond, died Tuesday evening (March 30, 2004) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Cranberry Prairie, Ohio on June 26, 1926 to Phillip and Rose Klosterman Quinter and had lived in this area most of his life. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a retired employee of the Dana Distribution Center. He was a member of Saint Andrew Church and was an active member, past president and board member of the YMI. He was also a member of the Dana Retirees.
Survivors include – Wife – Janet Quinter to whom he was married 54 years
Son – David P. Quinter of Richmond
Daughters – Terri Quinter of Richmond

Sister – Alice Rish of Phoenix, Arizona

A prayer service will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday (April 3, 2004) in Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Andrew Church. Father Steve Giannini will officiate. Burial will be in Saint Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday (April 2, 2004) from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Andrew Church, % 240 South 6th Street, Richmond, Indiana 47374.

Sharon L. Sparks, age 56, of Richmond, died Tuesday (March 16, 2004) after a long illness. She was born in Norway, Maine on November 27, 1947 to Lewis Sr. and Rita Tuttle Damon. She was a homemaker and had lived in this area most of her life..
