Nadine Roselle Bradley Bass, 85, Shawnee Mission, KS passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 8 at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Friends may call from 1-2 p.m., Tuesday at the chapel. Cremation will follow the services.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Dr. Lewis N. Bass, Jr., daughter, Andrea R. Bass, Silver Spring, MD; son, Lewis N. Bass, III and his wife, Theresa, Washington, D.C.; grandson, Lewis N. Bass IV, Washington, D.C. sister, Charlotte Chamberlin, Topeka, KS; cousin, Raymond Carter, Las Vegas, NV.
Michael G. Officer
Michael G. Officer, 56, Shawnee, KS passed away Thursday, January 24, 2008 . He is survived by his wife, Susan Kramer and son, Zachary of the home; father, Donald Officer, Kansas City, MO and two brothers, Hollis Officer, Kansas City, MO and Phillip Officer, New York, NY. He was preceded in death by his mother Kathleen “Tootie” Officer.
Memorial Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Shawnee, KS. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Inurnment will be in the Resurrection Cemetery.
Michael was a graduate of CMSU and Missouri Valley University and was a zone manager for Aramark, serving the greater KCMO school district. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the American Heart Assoc.
Mary Elizabeth Kinne Roberts
Mary Elizabeth Kinne Roberts died peacefully on Sunday, December 23, 2007. Mary was born in 1915 in Galien Township, Michigan. She was married to Dr. James Herbert Roberts in 1942. Mary and Jim lived in Illinois, Minnesota, Richland, Washington, and Lenexa, KS. Both shared a life long love of travel and traveled to many foreign and domestic destinations.
Survivors include her children James, Jean, Judy and John. She is survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Mary was an active member of her church, the Daughter's of the American Revolution and Colonial Dames organizations. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Community Covenant Church, 15700 W. 87th St. Pkwy, Lenexa, KS. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Covenant Church.
Mary Alice Frazier
Mary Alice Frazier, 69, Shawnee, KS passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee; burial in the Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 12:30-2:30 p.m., Tuesday at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fair Haven Baptist Church, 1111 Douglas, Kansas City, KS 66103.
Mary Alice was born June 15, 1938 in Kansas City, KS to Clarence and Alice (Dill) Albertson and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Argentine High School in 1956 and was a charter member of the Fair Haven Baptist Church. Mary is survived by her husband, James Frazier; three daughters, Brenda (Steve) McCord, Shawnee, KS, Marlena (Bart) Zink, Shawnee, KS and Cynthia (Jon) Ray, Raytown, MO; brother, Clarence (Alice) Albertson, Merriam, KS; five grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Mary E. Elam, age 86, of Lenexa, KS passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2008. Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday January 4, 2008, at Bonner Springs Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. The family request contributions to the City Union Mission, 1100 E. 11th St. Kansas City, MO 64106. Mary was born April 28, 1921, in Kansas City, MO. She retired from Western Auto, after 40 years as a statistical clerk. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Royals fan and loved to bowl. She was a faithful contributor to City Union Mission and other organizations. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Elam; her brother, Charles Bowers; and her mother and father Goldia and Charles Bowers; several cousins and dear friends.

Services for Marisol Comelie will be held at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 11:00am. A visitation will preceed the service from 10:00am to 11:00am.
Magie Mae Tinglehoff
Magie Mae Tingelhoff-Christianson, 7 mos., passed away at Boston Hospital Children’s in Boston, MA on Wednesday December 12, 2007. Magie was born in Kansas City, MO, on May 14, 2007, to Linda Tingelhoff and Mark Christianson.
In addition to her parents, Magie is survived by her half sister Paige Christianson, Fargo, ND; her grandparents, Keith and Evelyn Tingelhoff, Olathe, KS; Gary and Ruth Ann Christianson, Fargo, ND; great grandmothers, Eunice Tingelhoff, Omaha, NE; Zola Vlach, Glenfield, ND; Ruth Christianson, Jamestown, ND;. Magie is further survived by her aunts, uncles and her cousins.
There will be a private service for immediate family on Thursday December 20, 2007.
A special thank you to the many caring doctors, nurses and other staff members at both Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO and those at Boston Hospital Children’s in Boston, MA. The love and support we received in both of these hospitals was amazing.
