Ashley Dawn Lutz and MacAdam Drake Krause were united in marriage July 12, 2003 at First Presbyterian Church in Topeka.
The Rev. Kelvin Heitmann of Holton officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jana and Jerry Lutz of Holton.
The groom is the son of Rita and Rick Krause of Great Bend.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Maggie Sottero gown in heavy satin with beadwork and carried a bouquet of red, burnt orange, yellow and hot pink and coral flowers.
Matron of
honor was Amy Lutz-Page of Holton, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Gretchen Krause, sister of the groom, of Manhattan, Jerica Scheid of Manhattan, Lindsay Knouft of Antioch, Tenn., Melissa
Coverdale of Manhattan and Jessi Reichle of Topeka.
They wore gowns in shades of yellow satin with golden-bronze sheer overlay and carried bouquets similar to the bride.
Best man was Joel Price of Olathe.
Groomsmen were Mark Albright of Olathe, Nathan Malone of Overland Park, Trevor Gaskill of Roeland Park, Jonas Heinrich and Tad Drescher, both of Olathe.
Ushers were Jeremy Lutz, brother of the bride, and Drew Peine, both of Houston, Texas, Matt Carpenter of Dallas, Texas, Chris Lilley of Bonner Springs, Chad Boisseau of St. Louis Park, Minn., and Ron Page of Holton, brother-in-law of the bride.
Flowergirl was Tristen Lutz of Sarcoxie, Mo.
Ringbearer was Tanner Lutz, also of Sarcoxie.
Taperlighters were Marty Kulczewski and Stacy Kulczewski, both of Wheaton, Ill.
Vocalists were Marty and Henry Williams of Soldier, Lindsay Knouft of Antioch and Melissa Coverdale of Manhattan.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Holton High School and a graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education.
She is employed as a second-grade teacher at Mahaffie Elementary School in Olathe.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Great Bend High School and a graduate of K-State with a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering.
He is an industrial engineer supervisor with UPS in Olathe.
Grandparents of the bride are Thelma J. Dick and Ethel Lutz, both of Holton, and the late Chester Lutz.
Grandparents of the groom are Clyde and Elnora Rieschick of Soldier.
The couple reside in Olathe.
