Mariah Marie Isern, the daughter of Stan and Marla Isern of Ellinwood, and Dustin Michael Lee, the son of Mike and Richelle Lee of Hanston, were united in marriage with a double-ring ceremony Jan. 10, 2004 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ellinwood, with the Rev. Andy Keltner officiating.

The bride chose an elegant French vanilla matte satin gown styled in a two-piece strapless silhouette, featuring a delicately beaded strapless bodice accented with reembroidered Alencon lace motifs.

The full ballroom skirt swept into its own chapel train and featured a side drape to the hem of the skirt.

The bride carried a bouquet of handtied purple roses with sheer gold ribbon streamers.

Matron of honor was Mindy Cure, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Kristin Bicker, Megan Rome and Kelli Lee, sister of the groom.

Junior bridesmaids were Kileigh Cure, cousin of the groom, and CayLee Isern, goddaughter of the bride.

They wore black one-shoulder sheath dresses with an ankle-length flounce.

The junior bridesmaids wore black sheath dresses with purple front tie jackets and carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.

Best man was Zach Lee, brother of the groom.

Groomsmen were Tyler Lee, Michael Cure and Scott Cure, all cousins of the groom.

Junior groomsmen were Tanner Cure and Colton Lee, both cousins of the groom.

Flower girls were Payton Lee, cousin of the bride, and Madelyn Rome, goddaughter of the bride.

Ringbearer was Dalton Lee, cousin of the groom.

Ushers were Shane Isern, brother of the bride, and Jeremy Hahn.

Taperlighters were Christopher Isern and Cody Isern, both cousins of the bride.

Musicians were Chari Miller, organist, Marla Habiger, pianist; and Jill Weichman and Todd Ruff, soloists.

Guest book attendants were Tonya and Brian Taylor and Carl and Cheryl Isern, cousins of the bride.

Programs were handed out by Malorie Rome.

Following the ceremony, a reception dinner and dance were held at St. Joseph Parish Center.

Hosting the reception were Gretchen and Jason Berkgamp, Kris and Nancy Baird, Jaime and Staci Cure, cousins of the groom, and Kari and John Heimerman.

Reception attendants were Kim Geifer, Keri Hester, Kristie Stuewe, Mandy Rogers, Lori Steffan and Kim Heinz.

The bride is a graduate of Ellinwood High School and Kansas State University.

She is employed by Chapel Ridge Apartment Communities in Salina as a leasing consultant.

The groom is a graduate of Hanston High School and Garden City Community College.

He is employed by John Deere of Salina.

After a skiing honeymoon in Breckenridge, the couple are at home in Salina.
