Angie Marie Winter and Jerred Andrew Stoney were married on April 16, 2005 at St. Rose Catholic Church in Great Bend. The Rev. Ted Stoecklein officiated the mass and wedding. Parents of the couple are Casey and Teresa Winter of Great Bend and Jerry and Waunita Stoney of Oberlin. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white A-line, organza gown with a halter neckline decorated with a swirl design of beaded lace, which coordinated with the pattern on the entire hemline and chapel train. A crystal wreath tiara held the finger-tip veil in place. She carried a bouquet of white lisianthus, lavender sweet peas, lavender stock, white narcissus, Queen Anne’s lace, calcynia, white Monte Casino, seeded eucalyptus, ivy and berry stems. Kristal Pekarek served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacy Winter, sister of bride, of Great Bend, Rachel Metro and Valerie Ristau, both of Overland Park. Bridesmaids wore periwinkle satin princess-silhouette, floor-length gowns with a beaded halter neckline. They carried bouquets similar to the bride’s bouquet. Lucas Morten of Topeka served as the best man. The groomsmen were Jeremey Stoney, brother of the groom, of Oberlin; Aaron North, cousin of the groom, of Salina; and Johnny Lang of Hays. Flower girl was Antonia Waggoner, cousin of the bride, of Salina. Ring bearer was Jordan Winter, son of the bride. Music was provided by Joyce Haberman, organist, and Tami Strobel, soloist. Ushers were Preston Winter, brother of the bride, of Great Bend; Joe Schramek of Hays; and Brett Smith of Great Bend. The bride graduated from Great Bend High School in 1996 and attended Barton County Community College. She is employed by Office Products, Inc. in Great Bend as a bookkeeper. The groom is a 1999 graduate of Decatur County High School in Oberlin. He attended Barton County Community College. He is an assistant purchasing manager for John Morrell & Co. in Great Bend. The couple makes their home in Great Bend.
