Lisa Seuser and Lloyd Gottschalk were married on July 30, 2005 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pfeifer. Father Ultan Murphy officiated the double-ring ceremony. Parents of the couple are Bill and Pat Radke of Hoisington and Leon and Dolores Gottschalk of Hays. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a sleeveless, off-the-shoulder gown of ivory satin with a sweetheart neckline, embroidered lace, crystal beading and a basque waistline. The mermaid skirt swept into a chapel train. The bride also wore a crystal headpiece and carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, white roses and ivy. Shannon Radke of Victoria, sister-in-law of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Brenda Radke of Halstead, sisterin-law of the bride. Bridesmaids wore two-piece, sleeveless, indigo blue satin dresses with crystal and pearl beading and floorlength A-line skirts. They carried blue hydrangea with ivy. Richard Gottschalk of Hays, brother of the groom, served as the best man. The groomsmen were Blaine Radke of Victoria and Brent Radke of Halstead, both brothers of the bride. Hannah Radke of Victoria, niece of the bride, was the flower girl. Adam Gottschalk of Hays, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer. Music was provided by Cheryl and Sarah Glassman of Hays. Candlelighters were Cathy Ochs of Bison and Kris Hagans of La Crosse, both friends of the bride. The bride is a Hoisington High School graduate and a Fort Hays State University graduate with a bachelor of arts degree in English. She also has a master’s degree in communication. She is a former teacher at Otis-Bison High School. The groom is a graduate of Thomas More Prep and Fort Hays State University with a bachelor of science degree in marketing. He is a photojournalist for the Fox News Channel, Denver Bureau. After a honeymoon in New York City, the couple made their home in Denver, Colo.
