Yvette Suzanne Spangler and Gregory Scott Mills exchanged wedding vows Sept. 10, 2005 in an outdoor, evening wedding. Judge Robert Mulch officiated the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Jim and Yvonne Spangler of Scott City. The groom is the son of Gary and Sue Mills of Great Bend, and the grandson of Margaret Lightcap of Great Bend. The bride was escorted by her son, Jordan Van Campen. She wore an ivory spaghetti strap evening gown and carried a bouquet of lilies and miniature roses. Jillian and Jerica VanCampen, daughters of the bride, were the bride’s attendants. They wore pastel, halter tea-length dresses and carried single, long-stemmed roses. Flower girls were Spencer Bosley and Olivia Holopirek, both nieces of the groom. The groom wore a black suit with a pastel green shirt and tie. The best man was Forrest Gough of Scott City. Groomsman was Mike Ramey of Liberal. Ring bearers were Hunter Bosley and Alex Holopirek, both nephews of the groom. They wore black pants and pastel colored shirts. Candice Swedenborg sang selections. The couple is at home in Scott City where the bride is employed by Renaissance Day Spa and Salon and the groom is employed by the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks.
