Jana Marie Sauder and Matthew Foster Keeley, both of Great Bend, were united in marriage on July 30 at Community Christian Church in Great Bend. The Revs. Kevin Ingram, Jack Sweaney and Ted Stoecklein officiated the double-ring ceremony. Parents of the couple are Art and Connie Sauder and Mike and Jan Keeley, all of Great Bend. Grandparents of the bride are Irus and Loretta Sauder of Great Bend and Thomson and Carlene Roberts of Claremore, Okla. The groom’s grandparents are Barbara Keeley of Great Bend, the late Terry Keeley and Bill and Pat Schartz of Larned. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white strapless ball gown designed by Oleg Cassini. The gown featured a handembroidered beaded lace bodice with full organza skirt and cathedral train. A crystal rhinestone tiara held her cathedral veil in place. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of lisianthus and bells of Ireland, berry stems and roses. The bride’s two sisters, Gentry and Makenzie Sauder of Great Bend, were the maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Audrey Pool of Olathe, Jen Johnson of Manhattan, Megan Beahm of Chicago, Ill., Kelly Landon of Leawood and Kylie Siruta of Oakley. Their dresses featured strapless tops accented with ribbon belts at the waist and diagonal-striped tea-length skirts of iridescent taffeta in combinations of citrus green, pink blush and buttercup. They carried hand-tied bouquets similar to the bride’s. Taperlighters were Christy, Cindy and Beth Keeley, sisters of the groom, all of Great Bend. They wore dresses similar to the bridesmaids. Flower girl was Bailey Schartz of Larned, cousin of the groom. Ring bearers were Maci and Aaron Horner, Claremore, Okla. cousins of the bride. Music was provided by Kevin and Lisa Ingram of Manhattan and Katie Flynn of Chicago, Ill. Best man was Jason Harwood of Olathe. Groomsmen were Brooks Butler of Albuquerque, N.M., Adam Utz of Gardner, Joel Hardee of Olathe, John Gideon of Lebanon, Mo., and Clay Crane of Buffalo, N.Y. Ushers were Nathan Roberts, cousin of the bride, of Tulsa, Okla., Jimmie Williams of Olathe, Johnny Ream of Olathe and Derek Algrim of Garden City. The bride is a 2001 graduate of Great Bend High School and a 2005 graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in human ecology and a minor in business administration. She is employed by Manhattan High School. The groom is a 2000 graduate of Great Bend High School and a 2004 graduate of Mid America Nazarene University with a degree in business education. He is a business and computer teacher and basketball coach at Manhattan High School. The couple makes their home in Manhattan.
