Hillary McMullen, the daughter of Jim and Lisa McMullen of Ellinwood, and Ted King, the son of Ted and Sharon King of Great Bend, were united in marriage Dec. 27, 2003 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellinwood with the Rev. John Maes officiating.
The bride wore a strapless ivory gown and carried a bouquet of ivory roses and stephanotis.
Bridesmaids were Julie Knop and Haley Mannion, sister of the bride.
They wore one-shoulder copper-colored gowns with black evening gloves.
Best man was Jim Blevins.
Groomsman was Josh Fisher.
Ringbearer was Colton Potts, cousin of the bride.
Flowergirls were Kamie Hicks, niece of the groom, and Jordan Martens.
Taperlighter was Kelsee DeWerff, cousin of the bride.
Ushers were Paul Mannion, Dennis Finken and Bob Finken.
Musicians were Marla Habiger, Bonnie Tyson and Jean Thill.
The bride is a graduate of Ellinwood High School and is pursuing a degree in art education at Kansas State University.
The groom is a graduate of Ellinwood High School and Barton County Community College.
He served four years in the U.S. Navy and is pursuing a degree of chemical engineering at K-State.
The couple reside in Manhattan.
