Jennifer Lynn Feist, daughter of Greg and Sharon Feist of Great Bend, and Cody Michael Knepper, son of Mike and Pixie Knepper of Clay Center, were united in marriage on Oct. 8, 2005 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Great Bend. The Rev. Ted Stoecklein, cousin of the bride, officiated the double-ring ceremony. Grandparents of the bride are Melvin and Frankie Kaiser of Great Bend and Fred and Kate Feist of Ellinwood. Grandparents of the groom are Henrietta Mounts and Vivian Tripp, both of Clay Center. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an oyster-colored Maggie Sottero satin gown, featuring a strapless bodice with an asymmetrical waist and lace-corset back. The A-line skirt flowed into a sweep train. Swarovski crystals and glass beads embellished the gown. She carried a hand-held ribbon-tied bouquet of red freedom roses and delicate tree fern greenery. The maid of honor was Tonya Demel of Kansas City. Bridesmaids were Lynzee Frenzl of Kansas City, Jessica Alexander of Nashville, Tenn., Kylie Haverkamp of Topeka and Kimberly Leary of Shawnee. They wore black tea-length dresses and carried bouquets of ivory roses. The best man was Ben Burton of Overland Park. Groomsmen were Ryan Riek and Brian Rankin, both of Overland Park, Caleb Knepper and Adam Knepper, both brothers of the groom and both of Manhattan. Ushers were Evan Feist of Manhattan, brother of the bride, Aaron Kaiser of Brunswick, Maine, cousin of the bride, Kelly Condray of Topeka and Blake Bauer of Manhattan. Ring bearer was Wesley Nelson of Kansas City, cousin of the groom. Music was provided by Connie Weiser of Great Bend, former music teacher of the bride. The bride is a 2000 graduate of Great Bend High School and graduated from Kansas State University in 2003 with bachelor of science degrees in psychology and criminology. The groom is a 2000 graduate of Clay Center Community High School and graduated from Kansas State University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He is employed as a field professional engineer with Halliburton Energy Services, Liberal. The couple make their home in Liberal.
