Jennifer Noffsinger and Nathan Sullivan were married on Oct. 1, 2005 at the First Christian Church in Great Bend. The Rev. Bill Johnson officiated the double-ring ceremony. Parents of the couple are Clayton and Debra Noffsinger of Great Bend, and Dan and Gail Sullivan of Great Bend. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a beautiful gown by Maggie Sottero. The dress was a strapless gown of diamondwhite delustered satin. The mock two-piece gown featured a corset-style lace-up bodice. A tiny pleated ruffle accented the top of the gown. Swarovski crystals, pearls, and sequins adorned the bodice front and back. A band of beads accentuated the lower waist. The full skirt was formed by inverted pleats and flowed into a semi-cathedral train. The bride wore a fingertip-length veil, trimmed in thin white satin. The bride’s bouquet consisted of roses, hydrangea, and Hypercom berries. Liz Watkins of Olathe, served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Bree Ramirez of Kansas City, Mo., Aubree Moore of New Albany, Ohio, and Deana Zigler of Great Bend. The bridesmaids wore claret-colored, two-piece satin strapless gowns with sweep trains. Seth Nulton of Stillwater, Okla., served as the best man. The groomsmen were Justin Marintzer of Herndon, Matt Beckman of Valley Falls and Matt Carroll of Hillsboro. Lauren Koehler, cousin of the bride, of Littleton, Colo., was the flower girl. Jonas Sallman, cousin of the groom from Concordia was the ring bearer. Instrumental music was provided by pianist Connie Weiser of Great Bend and Alisha Eickhoff, of Goddard was the vocalist. Ushers were Jeff Noffsinger of Manhattan and Cory Noffsinger of Laramie, Wyo., both brothers of the bride, Tyson Taylor of Pratt and Kevin Shutts of Lawrence, both cousins of the groom. The bride is a 1998 graduate of Great Bend High School and a 2004 graduate of Fort Hays State University. She is a speech/language pathologist for USD 495 in Larned. The groom is a 1998 graduate of Hoisington High School and a 2002 graduate of Fort Hays State University. He is a hydrologic technician for the U. S. Geological Survey in Hays. The couple makes their home in Hays.
