Brandi Jacobs and Brian Clarke both of Topeka were married July 9, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church in Topeka. The Rev. Michael Chamberlain officiated the double-ring ceremony. Parents of the couple are Doug and Carole Jacobs of Garden City; Andrea and Keith Youngers of Fort Collins, Colo.; Brent Clarke of Great Bend and Debbie and Dusty Jones of Great Bend. Jeri Neuman of Topeka was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Audrey Maxwell of Ingalls and Michelle Ramsdell of Carbondale. Best man was Kevin Clarke of Great Bend. The groomsmen were Ben Hart and Eric Blevins both of Topeka. Ushers were Frank Jaksa of Roeland Park, Jerrod Ansley, Jonathan Klima and Marshall McGinnis all of Topeka. Candle lighters were Jessica Clarke and Jenna Clarke both of Great Bend. The bride graduated from Garden City High School in 2000. She graduated from Washburn University in May 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication and Bachelor of Public Affairs degree in public administration. She is employed by Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Topeka, Inc., as the program director. The groom graduated from Great Bend High School in 1999. He graduated from Washburn University in May 2003 with a Bachelor degree of Business Administration in finance and accounting. He currently attends Washburn University School of Law and will graduate in May. The couple reside in Topeka.
