JaCole Maraye Newell and Jared Dean Kirchgassner were united in marriage on April 12, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Larned in a double-ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. Bill Fitzgerrel. Parents of couple are Sonja Carson of Larned, Terry Newell of Seneca and Larry and Cindy Kirchgassner of Larned. Grandparents of the bride are Robert and Sharon Larsen of Larned and the late Duane and Ann Newell. Grandparents of the groom are Glenna Taylor of Great Bend, Gary Taylor of Haviland and the late William and Viola Kirchgassner.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless Michaelangelo gown with a floor-length A-line skirt adorned with beads and lace. She carried a bouquet of red roses.
Maid of honor was Lindsay Sooby of Lawrence. Bridesmaids were Amber Hauder of Baldwin, Emily Hutfles of Lawrence and Nikki Alber, cousin of the bride, of Alva, Okla. Junior bride was Alice Hitz, sister of the bride, of Larned. They wore apple red, satin tea-length halter gowns that featured a brooch at the bust line. They carried a bouquet of red roses similar to the bride’s bouquet.
Best man was Josh Woods of Larned. Groomsmen were Justin Woods of Larned and John Westhoff of Girard.
Flower girl was Mikayla Rhoads, niece of the groom, of Tonganoxie. Ringbearers were Afton and Aidan Boone, nephews of the groom, of Tonganoxie.
Ushers were Jon Boone and Dustin Rhoads, brothers-in-law of the groom.
The bride is employed by Cardio Vascular Consultants in Lawrence as a certified medical assistant.
The groom is employed by Five Star Masonry as a journeyman bricklayer.
The couple reside in Tonganoxie.
