Cindy Maxine Hullman and Curtis Michael Beechan were united in marriage March 20, 2004 at Peace Church in rural Hudson.
Parents of the couple are Betty Hullman of St. John, the late Loren Hullman, Michael and Helen Beechan of Sun City, Calif., and the late Anna Beechan.
The bride, escorted by her brother, Kim Hullman, and given in marriage by her mother, wore an elegant bridal gown of white satin styled in a princess silhouette, featuring a delicately beaded lace empire waist bodice.
The bodice also featured a rounded neckline and long lace sleeves.
The full skirt had scalloped lace inserts around the bottom and swept into a chapel train edged in lace.
The bride’s elbow -length veil with scattered beads fell from a flowered headband.
The bride also wore a pearl necklace that was given to her mother by her father on their wedding day.
She carried a bouquet of white roses with fuchsia pink tips and blue delphinium accented with misty blue and ivy.
Deanne Alexander of Wichita was maid of honor.
Brenda Rhodes of Marion was bridesmaid.
Flower girl was Lindy Smith of Sharon Springs.
Lori Flickner of Kingman was the bride’s personal attendant.
Best man was Jae-Ho Kim and Gene Zaid was groomsman, both of Sterling.
Ring bearer was Cordon Rowley of Little River.
Ushers were Kim Hullman and Mike Hullman of St. John, brothers of the bride.
Ushers and candle lighters were Jonathan Hullman of Hillsboro and Chris Hullman of Lawrence, nephews of the bride.
Stacy DeBey of Cawker City was the organist.
Vocalists were Cheryl and Stan Yoder and Christy and Mark Trollope, all of Kingman.
The couple reside in Sterling.
The bride graduated from St. John High School, Fort Hays State University and Kansas State University with a master’s of science degree in home economics education.
She is a family and consumer sciences teacher at Kingman Middle School in Kingman.
The groom graduated from Pacific High School, San Bernardino, Calif., the University of California, Riverside, Calif. and Stanford University, Stanford, Calif., with a doctorate in chemistry.
He is a professor of chemistry at Sterling College of Sterling.
