Kacie Ann Klug and Jared Lawrence Liebl were united in marriage on Nov. 24, 2007, at Holy Family Parish in Odin in a double-ring ceremony officiated by Father Dwight Birket. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Parents of the bride are Leonard and Lisa Klug. Parents of the groom are Kevin and Nancy Liebl.
Maid of honor was Jessica Klug, sister of the bride, of Odin. Bridesmaids were Bethany Miller and Tara Tate, both of Wichita, Taylor Klug, cousin of the bride, of Hays, and Kim Klug, cousin of the bride, of Hutchinson. Junior bridesmaid was Jamie Liebl, sister of the groom, of Claflin.
Best man was Jeremy Liebl, brother of the groom, of Claflin. Groomsmen were Evan Feist, Luke Wetta, Dave Mears and Zach Miller, all of Wichita. Junior groomsman was Evan Liebl, cousin of the groom, of Claflin.
Ushers were Scott Liebl, cousin of the groom, Mark Miller and Taylor Bieberle, cousin of the bride, all of Claflin, Jordan Hickel of Great Bend and Christopher Ramsey, cousin of the bride, of Bushton.
Flower girls were Lauren Liebl, cousin of the groom, of Hutchinson, and Emily Ryan of Claflin. Ringbearers were Brett Liebl, cousin of the groom, and Devin Ryan, both of Claflin.
Candlelighters were Brittany Murrell of Ellsworth and Kayla Klug of Hays, both cousins of the bride. Organist was Bernie Hoffman of Claflin. Vocalists were Kari Nap of Manhattan, cousin of the groom, and Tara Habiger of Lawrence, cousin of the bride.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Claflin High School. She graduated from Wichita State University with a bachelor’s degree in communication behavior disorder. She will begin a master’s program in speech pathology in the fall. She is employed by Dr. Chaparala in Wichita.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Claflin High School. He graduated from Wichita State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. He is employed by Wesley Medical Center in the Medical Intensive Care Unit.
The couple reside in Wichita.
