Tracie Wondra and Lance Haselhorst, both of Great Bend, were united in marriage April 17, 2004 during a double-ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. Ted Stoecklein at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Great Bend.
The bride wore a white satin gown with a V-neckline front and heart-shaped open back, long sleeves of lace, sequins and pearls.
The satin and lace bodice was accented with pearls and diamond-like sequins and the full-length skirt was trimmed in lace with pearl and diamond-like sequins and a 15-foot satin train trimmed with lace accented in pearls.
Parents of the couple are Harold and Sharon Wondra and Leon and Sharman Haselhorst, all of Great Bend.
Grandparents of the bride are Raymond and Joyce Shelton of Great Bend and Teresa Wondra of St. John and the late Ed Wondra.
Grandparents of the groom are Mildred Wood of Russell and the late Francis Wood, Agedia Haselhorst of Gorham and the late Walter Haselhorst.
Maid of honor was Shawna Wondra of Great Bend, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Lora Sander of Great Bend, Kelly Bowers of Florida, Lauri Haselhorst of Wichita, sister of the groom, Candi Flynn of New York and Emily Gerstner of Colorado.
They wore satin coral gowns with high necklines with spaghetti straps in the back to the waistline and a train.
Best man was Travis Newkirk of Hoisington.
Groomsmen were Rob Meitner of Hutchinson, Chaz Bowers of Florida, Aikido Blandon of Wichita, Dustin Ritter of Colorado and Shadd Wondra of Great Bend, brother of the bride.
Ushers were Ryan Cell of Salina, cousin of the bride, Brian Ritter of Overland Park, Daniel King of Texas and Clint Mai of Hoisington.
Miniature bride was Ciera Cell of Bazine, cousin of the bride.
Flowergirl was McKenzie King of Great Bend, cousin of the bride.
Miniature groom was Kolby Haselhorst of Hays, cousin of the groom and ringbearer was Wyatt Cell of Salina, cousin of the bride.
Musicians were Joyce Haberman, organist, of Great Bend, and Teresa White, vocalist, of Manhattan.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Great Bend High School and a 1999 graduate of Barton County Community College with an associate degree in criminal justice and a 2002 graduate of Francis Marion University in Florence, S.C., w ith a bachelor degree in psychology.
She is employed with Miami County Mental Health Center in Olathe.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Hoisington High School and joined the Marine Corps in 1999, stationed at Camp LeJeune in Jacksonville, N.C.
He was deployed to Afghanistan following 9-11 and ended his tour as a sergeant with an honorable discharge in January 2004.
He is employed by Cintas in Olathe.
The couple reside in Olathe.
