Courtney Kimple and Ryan McReynolds were united in marriage on Oct. 20, 2007, at Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence in a double-ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. Dr. Peter Luckey. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Parents of the couple are Richard and Linda Kimple of Ellinwood and Richard and Vickie McReynolds of Topeka.
Matron of honor was Jennifer Klepper of Ellinwood. Bridesmaids were Kelly Kimple, sister-in-law of the bride, of Fort Collins, Colo., Aubrey Ammon, of Overland Park, and Lacy Frees, of San Francisco, Calif.
Best man was David English of Overland Park. Groomsmen were Matt Huston of Manhattan and Ryan Ammon and Barry Clark, both of Overland Park.
Ushers were Nathan Kimple, brother of the bride, of Fort Collins, Colo., Michael Drees, of Great Bend, and Kevin Sawtelle, of Lawrence.
Flower girl was Lauren Liebl, of Hutchinson. Ring bearer was Noah Kuebler, nephew of the groom, of Topeka.
Pianist was Marla Habiger of Ellinwood. Organist was Mi-Young Jin of Lawrence. Vocalists were Trent and Bonnie Green of Prairie Village.
The bride is a graduate of Ellinwood High School. She graduated from Washburn University with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology. She is employed by Intrust Bank in Overland Park.
The groom is a graduate of Topeka West High School. He graduated from Kansas University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is employed by Handcrafted Wines of Kansas in Lenexa.
The couple reside in Overland Park.
