Kristy Straub and Randy Rein were united in marriage on Sept. 22, 2007 at the Club at StoneRidge golf course in the bride’s parents backyard in a ceremony officiated by the Rev. Bill Johnson.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Parents of the couple are Ron and Kathy Straub of Great Bend and Bob and Rose Rein of Great Bend.
Maid of honor was Jessica Corkill of Kansas City, Mo.
Bridesmaids were Stephanie Harris of Shawnee, Tiffany Hansen of Liberty, Mo., and Janice Keller of Shawnee.
They wore turquoise and brown dresses and carried flowers that were turquoise, brown and orange.
Best men were Russell Rein of Olathe and Robby Rein of Great Bend.
Groomsmen were Darren Straub of Great Bend and Jimmy Gillespie of Chase.
Flower girl was Kendall Sell of Great Bend.
Ring bearer was Walker Eaton of Muskogee, Okla.
Ushers were Eric Cape and Jeff Jackson, both of Great Bend, Andrew Eaton of Muskogee, Okla., and Greg Barr of Kansas City, Mo.
Reader was Bev Corkill of Lawrence.
Vocalists were Jeff Jackson and Steven Mai, both of Great Bend, and Troy Kirby of Greensburg, with pre-wedding music by Jerry Ney of Great Bend.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Great Bend High School.
She graduated from the University of Kansas in 2003.
