Kimberly Ann Pivonka and Travis Floyd Bartley were united in marriage on Nov. 3, 2007 at St. Rose Catholic Church in Great Bend with the Rev. Reginald Urban officiating. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Parents of the couple are Rita Pivonka of Great Bend, David Pivonka of Timken, and Rick and Rhonda Bartley of Abilene. Grandparents of the bride are Marvin and Marguerite Schneider of Olmitz, Bud and Melva Pivonka of Timken, the late Don and Esther Bartley and honorary grandmother, Shirley Wilson of Carlton.
Matron of honor was Melissa Pivonka, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kate Bartley, sister of the groom, Jaimee Landers, Gina Nordyke, Erica Long, and Kristen Royer, cousin of the bride.
Best man was A.J. Bartley, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Casey Cole, Chris Stoneberger, Brett Brandon, Justin Ivey and Bill Wray.
Flower girl was Lily Bartley, niece of the groom. Candlelighters were Erin Myrick and Janel Tammen, cousins of the bride. Ushers were Andy Pivonka, brother of the bride, Kyle Stroda, Greg Haslouer, and Keith Shrader.
The bride is a graduate of Otis-Bison High School and Emporia State University with a degree in business and finance. She is employed by ALCO/Duckwall corporate office in Abilene as an inventory planner.
The groom is a graduate of Abilene High School and attended Emporia State University. He is owner of T B Kennels, employed by R B Kennels, and is assistant coach for the Abilene High School baseball team, all in Abilene.
The couple reside in Abilene.
