Erin Michelle Zink and Patrick John Siemsen, both of Holyrood, were united in marriage on Aug. 5, 2006 at Salem United Methodist Church in Bushton. Parents of the couple are Dennis and Teri Zink of Bushton and Steve and Sherry Siemsen of Holyrood. The Rev. Vernon Maelzer officiated the double-ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Maid of honor was Emily Jokisch of Knoxville, Tenn. Bridesmaids were Sarah Bixenman of Hays, Crystal Trout of Bushton and Lori Vaughn of Overland Park. Best man was J.D. Klima of Claflin. Groomsmen were Seth Rolfs of Topeka, Craig Weber of Denver, Colo., and Matt Siemer of Memphis, Tenn. Ushers were Ryan Zink, brother of the bride, of Cookeville, Tenn., and Darren and Taylor Siemsen, brothers of the groom. Flower girl was Jayden Johnson of Great Bend. Ringbearer was Teagon Nienke of Lorraine. Candlelighters were Shawna Klima of Claflin and Sarah Siemer of Manhattan. Vocalists were Laurie Hoelscher of Tulsa, Okla., and Amy Hurley and Lesley Matlack, both of Burrton. The bride is a graduate of Sidney’s Hairdressing College. She is employed by Quivira Heights High School and Claflin schools as a substitute teacher. The groom is a graduate of Garden City Community College, where he received his associate’s degree. He is employed by Klima Well Service in Claflin. The couple reside in Holyrood.
