Heather Bryant and Monty Fulghum were united in marriage on Nov. 18, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellinwood with the Rev. Charles Mazouch officiating the double-ring ceremony. Parents of the couple are Brian and Sharon Schartz of Ellinwood, John Bryant of Great Bend and Richard and Rita Fulghum of Fredonia. Given in marriage by her stepfather, the bride wore a Maggie Sottero strapless, diamond-white taffeta gown with a silver lace corset-back bodice accented with taffeta ornamenting the empire waistline and sprinkled with crystals. The taffeta skirt was caught up richly, creating a full A-line silhouette and swept into its own extended train. Her two-tiered veil of bridal illusion, shimmering with crystals, fell from a rhinestone and crystal tiara. She wore teardrop rhinestone and crystal earrings and carried an heirloom handkerchief from the groom’s family. Her long-stemmed bouquet included Gerber daises in colors of red, pink, orange, yellow and green. Amie Miller of Ellinwood, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ginger Trummel, Gina Hooten, Courtney Burwell and Pauline Clausen, all of Kansas City, and Cindy Kimball of Wichita. Trent Henderson of Kansas City served as best man. Groomsmen were Trey Kimball, Jason Fulghum, Mark Fulghum, Ryan Fulghum, and Shane Skelley all of Wichita. Bailey Fulghum of Wichita, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. Trevor and Tate Miller of Ellinwood, nephews of the bride, were the ring bearers. Ushers were Brandon Neeley and Brett Rettig of Wichita, Chris Ricke of Tahlequah, Okla., and Peter Ceesay of Washington, D,C. Vocalist was Molly Erwin of Kansas City. The bride is a graduate of Ellinwood High School and Wichita State University. She is a dental hygienist employed by Lashley Family Dentistry and TJ Foley, DDS, both of Wichita. The groom is a graduate of Fredonia High School and Wichita State University. He is employed by Applebees as a general manager in Wichita. The couple reside in Wichita.
