Janice Lubeck of Great Bend and Larry Barrett of Wichita were married on Dec. 10, 2005 at the University Friends Meeting House in Wichita. Dr. David Kingrey conducted the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of the Rev. Howard Youngblom of Lindsborg and the late Effie Youngblom. The groom is the son of the late C. Glenn Barrett and C. Audrey Frazier-Barrett of Wichita. Escorted by her son, Jude Lubeck of Seattle, Wash., the bride wore an elegant mint, satin and crepe gown designed in a mock two-piece look with a princess silhouette, featuring a picture collar and wrapped-waist detail over a floor-length skirt with a sweep train. Linda Dueser of Great Bend was matron of honor. She wore a deep hunter-green crepe gown designed with a sleeveless scoop neckline and delicately beaded embroidered bodice over a long A-line skirt. Brent Thomas of Anna, Texas, brother-in-law of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Lance Barrett of Wichita, son of the groom, Wayne Casimir of Wichita, son-in-law of the groom, Logan Casimir, grandson of the groom, and Jude Lubeck, son of the bride. Wedding hostesses were Summer Barrett of Wichita, daughter-in-law of the groom, Leigh Casimir of Wichita, daughter of the groom, and Kirstin Casimir, granddaughter of the groom, was at the guestbook. The wedding music was performed by Jessica Snyder, flutist, LaVonna Loesch, pianist, Clint Begole, vocalist, and Rosemary Netrounner, organist. A cake and punch reception was held at the University Friends Meeting House followed by a dinner buffet reception at the Four Points Sheraton in Wichita. The couple will continue working at Larned State Hospital in administration and will maintain households in Great Bend and Wichita.
