Tammi S. Jenisch and Frankie J. Forbes were married on Aug. 27, 2005 at St. Rose of Lima Church in Great Bend. The Rev. Reginald Urban officiated the double-ring ceremony. Parents of the couple are Gerald and Judy Jenisch of Great Bend and Jim and Carol Forbes of Parsons. The bride and groom presented themselves for marriage with the blessing of both of their parents and families. Sherri Jenisch, sister of the bride, of Merriam, served as maid of honor. The best men were Dan Forbes of Parsons and Christopher O’Connor of Gardner, both brothers of the groom. The bride carried a bouquet of red roses with berries and the maid of honor carried a bouquet of white roses with berries. Readers and Lectors were Kelly Feist of Great Bend, Brad LaForge of Wichita and Heath Osborn of Lawrence. Ushers were Matt Hanny of Parsons, Joe Keal of Prairie Village, Aaron Whetzel of Overland Park and Brant Williams of Battlefield, Mo. The bride is a graduate of Great Bend High School. She received an associate’s degree from Barton County Community College and a bachelor’s degree in ac counting from Kansas State University. She is an internal auditor for Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. in Kansas City, Mo. The groom is a graduate of Parsons High School. He received his associate’s degree from Coffeyville Community College, a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Kansas, Juris Doctorate and MBA from the University of Kansas. He is an attorney with Holbrook and Osborn, PA in Overland Park. The couple make their home in Kansas City, Mo.
