Kiley Metro and Gavin Klug were married Nov. 19, 2005 at the Holy Family Parish in Odin. The Rev. Pascal Klein officiated the double-ring ceremony. Parents of the couple are Larry and Deanna Metro of Concordia and John and Linda Klug of Odin. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a champagne satin strapless gown embellished with silver and gold beading. A mock two-piece carriage-back covered an organza chapel-length train, embroidered with beading along the edge. She also wore a fingertip veil with a beaded tiara. She carried a stem-nosed bouquet filled with red roses, orange Gerber daisies and yellow freesia. Rachel Clark, sister of the bride, of Overland Park served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Adrienne Collins of Emporia, Kristy Straub of Great Bend, Sam South of Hutchinson and Alisha Lamatsch, sister of the groom, of Odin. The bridesmaids wore deep apple-red full-length spaghetti-strapped chiffon dresses with scooped necks. They carried stem-nosed bouquets of red, orange and yellow Gerber daisies. Austin Klug of Odin served as the best man. The groomsmen were Josh Kaiser of Manhattan, Beau Hekele of Odin, John Staudinger of Topeka and Philip Metro, brother of the bride, of Odin. Adrienne Clark of Overland Park and Alyx Lamatsch of Odin were the flower girls. Mason Haxton of Ellinwood was the ring bearer. Music was provided by Nancy Baxter of Great Bend, pianist; Jerry Ney of Great Bend, guitarist; and Shelly Ramsey and Jerad Gorney both of Great Bend, vocalists. Ushers were Kevin Clark of Overland Park, Landon Krier of Kansas City, Jordan Metro of Emporia and Josh Gisick of Odin. The bride is a graduate of Barton County Community College and Emporia State with a degree in elementary education. She teaches at Great Bend Middle School. The groom has a certificate of masonry from North Central Kansas Technical College and is currently employed at Superior Essex in Hoisington. The couple makes their home in Odin.
