Megan Porter and Jeremy Warner were united in marriage at the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Shawnee. Gary Teske and Bob Hemphill officiated the ceremony. Parents of the couple are Curtis and Sandra Porter of Shawnee Mission and Steve and Cindy Warner of Great Bend. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white wedding dress and she carried a bouquet of red roses and stargazer lilies. The matron of honor was Emily Lamont, the maid of honor was Johanna Hemphill, bridesmaids were Amanda Porter, Diane Guthrie, Gretchen Nicholl, Jill Hertzelle, and Sarah Boyle. They wore black dresses of their own choosing and carried red roses. The best man was Kevin Warner. Groomsmen were Steve Warner, Anthony Nicholl, Adam Moos, Matt Fouts, Joel Porter and Todd Porter. The wore wine-colored shirts with black ties. Ushers were Seth Wing and Will Hurst. The bride is a graduate of Friends University in Wichita with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications. She is a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserves and a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF II). She is employed by Commercial Real Estate Appraiser of Prairie Village. The groom is a graduate of Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer information systems and Park University with a Master of Business Administration degree. He is employed by DST Systems, Inc. in Kansas City, Mo., as a computer programmer. The couple reside in Olathe.
