She attended Colorado State University and graduated from Boulder College of Massage Therapy. She is a sports and orthopedic massage therapist. The groom graduated from Ellinwood High School, Barton County Community College and the University of Wyoming. He is employed by Fort Collins newspaper The Coloradoan as a major accounts executive. The couple reside in Fort Collins.
