Emilee Belknap and Derek Foote were united in marriage on July 8, 2006 in a double ring ceremony at Crestview Bible Church in Hutchinson. Parents of the couple are Paul and Nancy Belknap of Hutchinson and Reuel and Janell Foote of Hudson. Maids of honor were Sheree Belknap and Kylee Belknap of Hutchinson, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jenny Girst of San Francisco, Calif. and Angela Foote of Hudson, sister-in-law of the groom. Best man was Josh Foote of Hudson, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Farmhouse Fraternity brothers Jeff Barney of Fresno, Calif., Tyler Hands of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Lucas Sawyer of Leavenworth. Ushers were Jonathan Belknap, brother of the bride of Hutchinson, Tyler Alpers, cousin of the groom of Hudson, Jesse Sullivan, cousin of the bride of Nickerson and Nolan Crosson, Farmhouse brother from Omaha, Neb. Taperlighters were Tabra Ward of Omaha, and Taci Alpers of Hudson, cousins of the groom. Ringbearer was Tate Weltz in, Lafayette, Colo. and flower girl was Linnea Epp, cousin of the bride from Aurora, Colo. The bride is a graduate of Central Christian High School in Hutchinson and is currently working on her dietetics degree at Kansas State University. The groom is a graduate of St. John High School and Kansas State University. He is currently employed by Cargill Meat Solutions in Wichita as a business analyst. After a honeymoon to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple reside in Valley Center.
