Kimberly Kay Sieker and Dallas John Klepper were united in marriage on Sept. 23, 2006 at St. John Lutheran Church in Ellinwood. Pastor Merlyn Lohrke of Cunningham officiated the double-ring ceremony. Parents of the bride are Jerry and Marcia Sieker of Ellinwood. Parents of the groom are David and Janice Klepper of Great Bend. Grandparents of the bride are Wanda Sieker of Ellinwood and the late Harry Sieker and William Doherty of Great Bend and the late Benita Doherty. Grandparents of the groom are Kenneth and Marilyn Klepper of Great Bend and the late Raymond and Betty Gagelman. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white strapless satin A-line gown with a split back and beaded metallic embroidery on the bodice and chapel train and a fingertip veil with crystal beads and metallic edge. Her headpiece was an Austrian crystal tiara with a floral leaf design. She wore a crystal necklace and bracelet belonging to her late grandmother. The bride also carried a handkerchief belonging to her grandmother. She carried a nosegay-style bouquet with hot pink and red roses with hydrium berries and a wrapped handle with sheer ribbon. Maid of honor was Kelci Sieker of Ellinwood, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lindsay Peters of Great Bend, sister of the groom, and Erica Drummond of Lawrence, friend of the bride. They wore halter organza tea length dresses in apple red and carried nosegay-style bouquets with hot pink and red roses and hydrium berries with hot pink ribbon on the handles. The best man was Kyle Sieker of Shawnee, brother of the bride. Groomsmen were Kevin Sieker of Shawnee, brother of the bride, and Kenny Titus of Manhattan, friend of the groom. Flower girl was Ellie Peters of Great Bend, niece of the groom. She wore a white sleeveless satin gown with a beaded tulle skirt, apple red satin sash and apple red bow on the back. The ringbearer was Ian Wietharn of Topeka, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Brian Sieker of Overland Park, cousin of the bride, and Nick Graf of Manhattan, cousin of the groom. Candlelighters were Paige Mauch and Kylie Mauch, both of Salina, cousins of the groom. Organist was Paula Hamm of Ellinwood. Trumpeter was Marc Webster of Great Bend. Pianists were Nancy Baxter and Lori Underwood, both of Great Bend, cousins of the bride. Vocalists were Kelci Sieker of Ellinwood, sister of the bride, and Lori Underwood, Great Bend, cousin of the bride. The bride is a 2001 graduate of Ellinwood High School, a 2003 graduate of Barton County Community College and a 2005 graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor of science degree in psychology. She is employed by USD 383 in Manhattan as a special education paraprofessional. The groom is a 2002 graduate of Great Bend High School. He attended Barton County Community College and Kansas State University. He is employed by the City of Manhattan Utilities in Manhattan. After a honeymoon in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple reside in Manhattan.
