Jade Nicole Parrson and Ryan Lee Staab were united in marriage on Aug. 5, 2006 at St. Catherine Church in Catharine, presided by the Rev. Gilmary Tallman of Hays. The bride was given in marriage by her mother and father. Parents of the bride are Regina and Alan Rose of Ellinwood, and Kelly and DeAnna Parrson of Marinette, Wis. Parents of the groom are Robert and Linda Staab of Hays. Grandparents are Urban Wensmann of Leavenworth and the late Shirlie Wensmann; the late Jack and Venessa Parrson; Marcella Klein of Hays and the late Sylvester Klein; Viola Staab of Catharine and the late Elmer Staab. Maid of honor was Tiffany Gies. Bridesmaids were Erica Tiede Dora Branyan and Laura Brunner, sister of the groom. Best man was Scott Schmidt. Groomsmen were Clint Gottschalk, Eric Schmidt and Travis Brunner, brother-in-law of the groom. Ushers were Chris Grandy, Chad Stramel, Brandon Werth and Mikhael Parrson, brother of the bride. Flower girls were Cassandra Clubine and Sydney Wonnell, cousins of the bride. Ring bearer was Connor Staab, cousin of the groom. Candle lighters were Chadd Clubine, cousin of the bride and Candace Staab, cousin of the groom. Lectors were Shelly Clubine, aunt/godmother of the bride and Charlie Staab, uncle of the groom. Eucharistic minister was Pat Staab, uncle of the groom. Vocalist was Natalie Wonnell, aunt of the bride. The bride is a 1999 graduate of Hoisington High School. She received a bachelor of education degree in early childhood education and a certificate of leadership from Washburn University in 2004. She received a master of science degree in adaptive special education from Fort Hays State University in 2006. She is a Head Start/early childhood special education teacher with the Hays Public School District. The groom is a 2000 graduate of Thomas More Prep-Marian High School in Hays. He received a bachelor of science degree in agriculture from Fort Hays State University in 2005. He is employed at Hays Medical Center. The couple reside in Hays.
