Plautz 60th
Roger and Wanda Plautz of Bushton will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house for friends and relatives on Jan. 28, 2006. Nieces and nephews of the couple will host the celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church, south of Bushton.
Roger Plautz, a lifetime Bushton community resident, and Wanda Kitchen of Fredrick were married Jan. 27, 1946, in the home of her parents.
They live on the farm where Mr. Plautz was born and are still farming.

McIntosh 40th
Larry and Connie McIntosh’s children invite family and friends to a come-and-go reception for the McIntosh’s 40th wedding anniversary from 2 to 5 p.m. on Feb. 4, 2006 at the First Southern Baptist Church annex, 3301 19th Street, Great Bend.
The family requests no gifts.
Larry Doyle McIntosh and Connie Sue Martin were united in marriage on Jan. 21, 1966, in Springhill, Ark.
Mr. McIntosh worked 40 years as a dedicated employee for Southwestern Bell Telephone before his retirement in 2002.
Mrs. McIntosh graduated from cosmetology school in Texarkana and worked as a cosmetologist until she became a fulltime mom in 1969.
Currently, the couple is enjoying the job of spoiling grandchildren.
They have three daughters and son-in-laws: Cindy and Randy Clark and Sandy and Mic Huddleston of Great Bend and Tammi and Kevin Schreiner of Austin, Texas.
The couple also has four grandchildren: Seth, Sharon, Cody and Kade.
McCosh 50th
Kenneth and Karen McCosh will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Their families are requesting a surprise card shower.
Kenneth McCosh and Karen Petz were married Jan. 21, 1956, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend.
They have made their home in Hillsdale, Mich., for the past 45 years where Kenneth was employed with Rice Engineering and is now retired.
The couple have three children: Yvonne and husband Frank Williams of Greenville, Tenn.; LeDayle and husband Zack Kinney of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and Terry and wife Diane McCosh of Hillsdale, Mich.
They also have three grandchildren: Benjamin and Erin Williams and Jessica McCosh.
