Kimber 50th
Norman and Norma Jean Kimber will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in Branson Mo., with their children.
Norman Kimber and Norma Jean Schmidt were married on June 23, 1956, at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Hoisington.
Mr. Kimber is employed by Exxon and Mrs. Kimber by Fuller Brush and J.C. Penneys.
The couple resides in Hoisington.
They have two children, Sherri and Mike Kephart of Cumming, Ga., and Tammi and Doug Carpenter of Wichita.
The couple have four grandchildren, Andrea and Chelsea Kephart of Cumming and Shelby and Ashley Carpenter of Wichita.
Dyke 50th
Loren and Marilyn Dyke celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 27, 2006 with their family at Embassy Suites in Kansas City, Mo., with a banquet.
Loren Dyke and Marilyn Mueller were married on May 27, 1956, in Griswold, Iowa.
Hosts for the celebration were their children and grandchildren: Lorene and Steve Meyer, children Daniel and Stephanie, of Kansas City, Jerry and Kathy Dyke and son Jeffrey of Jacksonville Fla., and Dan Dyke of Boston Mass.
Stremel 50th
Jake and Peggy Stremel of Great Bend celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with friends and family at a mass at St. Rose Catholic Church on Saturday.
The couple were married on April 9, 1956, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellinwood.
