Bauer 50th
Harold and Sally Bauer of Hudson will celebrate their 50th anniversary from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sept. 3, 2006 with a reception for family and friends at Hudson Community Hall.
Darlene “Sally” Ann Searle and Harold Jerome Bauer were married Sept. 2, 1956, at Hudson Trinity Evangelical and Reformed Church.
They have lived in Hudson their married life and have been active in the community.
Harold ran Bauer’s Grocery with his brother Dean and has been the Hudson mayor for many years.
Sally, an RN, worked at Stafford District Hospital for over 35 years.
The couple are active members of Hudson Community Church.
Since retirement they have been helping Darrell at Wheatland Cafe with Sunday Buffet and catering, and enjoy attending their grandchildren’s activities.
The event will be hosted by their children and grandchildren, son Darell and Shannon Bauer of Hudson and daughter Brenda and Bruce Rhodes of Marion.
Grandchildren are Jessica Bauer of Lawrence, Justin Bauer of Hays, Jordan Bauer of Hudson, Molly Rhodes of Wichita and Matt Rhodes and great-grandson Noah of Germantown, MD.
Grauer 40th
Paul and Eileen Grauer celebrated their 40th anniversary on Aug. 19, 2006 with a family dinner.
Eileen Baker and Paul Grauer were married at the United Methodist Church in Wilson.
Paul is a clerk at the Hoisington Post Office.
Eileen is a retired teacher.
The couple have two daughters, Cpl. Beth Grauer of Camp Lejeune, NC, and Christy Grauer of Kansas City, Mo.
Reiser 50th
Rudolph (Rudy) and Evelyn Reiser of Great Bend will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with friends and relatives from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sept. 2, 2006 with an open house at the Senior Center, 2005 Kansas in Great Bend.
Evelyn Huschka and Rudolph Reiser were married Sept. 6, 1956, at St. Rose Church in Great Bend.
Rudy is retired from Dillons and Evelyn is retired from Fuller Brush.
Hosts for the celebration will be their children, Roger and Debbie Converse of Harveyville, Kan.; David and Tricia Reiser of Great Bend; Lt. Col. Richard and LaVonne Reiser of Geilen Kirchen, Germany; and Steve and Cheryl Schaub of Parker, Colo.
The couple has nine grandchildren.
