Keys 50th
The children of Donald and Carol Keys will host a reception in celebration of their parents’ 50th wedding anniversary.
The reception will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Aug. 26 at the Senior Center in Greenfield, Mo. Friends and family are invited to attend.
Donald, a Great Bend native, is the son of Edward and Etta Keys.
Christiansen 60th
Gerald and Nadine Christiansen celebrated their 60th anniversary on July 15, 2006 at the Hoisington Recreation Center.
Nadine Amerine and Gerald Christiansen were married on July 14, 1946.
Those present to celebrate were: son Gary Christiansen and wife Judy; daughter Kathy Hansen and husband Mike; grandsons Shawn Christiansen and wife Yadira, Nick Christiansen and wife Candis, Todd Edmundson and wife Angie, and Sage Edmundson and companion Michelle Bailey and granddaughter Jamie Hansen; great-grandsons Gage and Chris Christiansen, Skyler, Zack and Chaz Edmundson; and Danika Bailey and family friend Marty Meyers.
Pearson 60th
Clayton and Frances Pearson will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary today with a luncheon in McPherson.
Hosts for the celebration will be their children Clayton and Linda Pearson of Great Bend, Sue and Mike Koch of Rogers, Ark., and Kay and Bob Finn of Wichita.
Frances Nelson and Clayton Pearson were married on Aug. 7, 1946, in Assaria.
They have lived most of their married lives in Great Bend.
Mr. Pearson was employed by Haliburton and Ford Tractor.
Mrs. Pearson was employed by Central Kansas Medical Center and Central Kitchen for USD 428 in Great Bend.
The couple has seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
