Hallett 50th
Eugene and Carol Hallett will celebrate their 50th anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sept. 24, 2006 with a reception at St. Mark Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 2101 Jackson, in Great Bend.
Eugene Hallett and Carol Ochs were married on Sept. 22, 1956, in La Crosse.
Eugene retired from Aquila after 34 years and Carol retired from Fuller Brush after 21 years.
Hosts for the celebration will be the couple’s children and grandchildren: Gene Hallett of Marion; Wayne and Connie Rathbun of Great Bend, Tiffani of Denver and Keith of Lawrence; Ronnie and Michelle Schwager of Great Bend, Amanda, Jac, Nathan and Georgia; John and Erin Drake and Alivia of Topeka; Adam and Erica of Great Bend; Craig and Renea Moore of Great Bend, Tommy and Brandy Loomis, Emma, Hannah, Luke and Lake Moore all of Great Bend.

Mooer 60th
Bennie and Bonnie Mooer of Great Bend celebrated their 60th anniversary on Sept. 8, 2006.
Bennie Mooer and Bonnie Peoples were married Sept. 8, 1946, at the First Baptist Church in St. John.
Mr. Mooer is a U.S. Air Corps veteran, serving during World War II, and is the retired owner of Bennie Mooer Construction Co.
Mrs. Mooer is a retired Registered Nurse.
The couple’s children are, Janene and husband Marvin Lehmann of Arlington, Texas; grandchildren Sheri Lehmann of Eules, Texas and Todd and wife Julie Lehmann of Grand Prairie, Texas; and great grandson Storm Lehmann of Grand Prairie, Texas.
Brack 50th
Mak and Marlene (Folkerts) Brack will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sept. 17, 2006 at the Trinity Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 24th and Adams.
Mak and Marlene were married Sept. 16, 1956, at Hope Lutheran Church in Rush Center.
The couple own and operate Brack and Henning Floor Covering and have lived in Great Bend for 37 years.
The event will be hosted by their family, Melinda and Steve Hansen, Kirsten, Christian and Kaylee; Michele Brack, Maura and Todd Milner, Ethan, Brielle and Marlee.
