Talbot 60th
Elvin R. Talbot and Elaine V. Talbot were married July 12, 1946, at the First Baptist Church in Afton, Mo.
They met at William Jewel College in Liberty, Mo., in 1944.
Their four daughters, Debby Ratzlaff, Martha Tollefson, Rachel Beaver and Ruth Haley, held a family celebration in honor of the couple’s 60th anniversary, at a church camp near Scott City, July 20 – 23, 2006.
Elvin has pastored churches in Missouri, Colorado and Kansas and is currently pastoring the Senior Saints at the North Ridge Church in Sabetha.
Elaine has worked through the years as a nurse’s aid, a bank teller and a faithful minister’s wife.
The couple now reside at 1615 Roosevelt, Apt. 50, Sabetha, KS 66534.
Their daughters encourage friends and family to send them greetings.
Cohoon 50th
Bill and Alice Cohoon of Jetmore will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception from 3 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 28, 2006 and a dance at 8 p.m. at the Jetmore 4-H building.
Friends and relatives are invited.
Hosts for the celebration will be their daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Jess Lonnberg of Jetmore.
The couple has three granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.
Bill Cohoon and Alice Habiger were married Oct. 27, 1956, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Jetmore.

McAtee 60th
Victor A. and Loma N. McAtee of Lyons, will celebrate their 60th anniversary with a come-and-go reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on Oct. 28, 2006 at the Celebration Center in Lyons.
Victor McAtee and Loma Groth were married Oct. 15, 1946, at the Baptist Church in Frederick.
Mr. McAtee is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in Iwo Jima and Japan during World War II.
He is a retired maintenance director for Tumbleweed Apartments and Mrs. McAtee is retired from Bunting Dunlap Pharmacy, both of Lyons.
Hosts for the event are their children and spouses, Terry and Jean McAtee of Great Bend, Farrell and Becky McAtee of St. Francis and Randy and Kathy McAtee of Yukon, Okla., and their 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
