Nicole Alane Scheid, the daughter of Ron and Judy Scheid of St. Louis, and Brayden Lee Miller of Kansas City, the son of Nathan and Pam Miller of Ellinwood, were united in marriage Aug. 9, 2003, at the Church of the Nativity in Leawood in a double-ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. Al Rockers.
The
bride was given in marriage by her father and wore a diamond white satin A-line designer gown with shoestring crystal spaghetti straps, a beaded bodice with svarvaski crystals cascading through to the waistline and a low cut back with train.
She wore a svarvaski crystal tiara with elbow -length veil bordered with rhinestones.
She carried a gathered nosegay in shades of pinks and purples.
Maid of honor was Erin DeFeo.
Bridesmaids were Cortney Romer, Amanda Tollefson, cousin of the bride, Breauna Miller, sister of the groom, Julie May, sister-in-law of the bride, and Amber Scheid, sister-in-law of the bride.
They wore black chiffon 3/4 length gowns with one-inch shoulder straps accented with rhinestone buckles and carried bouquets similar to the brides.
Best man was Joseph Kirchner.
Groomsmen were Ben Reser, Josh Habiger, Cameron Coleman, and brothers of the bride Danny Scheid and Marcus Scheid.
Ushers were Josh McMullen and Brad Fullbright, along with Matt Tollefson, cousin of the bride.
Flower girls were Hannah Borchers and Sidney Borchers.
Musicians were Natalie Fryman, cousin of the bride, as vocalist and pianist, and Dorothy Branwein, organist.
The bride is employed by California Casualty in Kansas City.
The groom is employed by Design Resource Inc. in Kansas City.
The couple reside in Overland Park.
