Lacey Burhenn and John Haughawout were married on July 10, 2004, in Estes Park, Colorado with Rev. Gary Mansfield, officiating the outdoor ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Steve and Adel Burhenn of Great Bend.
Parents of the groom are Dick and Mary Dreiling of Willis, Texas, and Robert Haughawout of Wichita.
Grandparents of the bride are Irvin and Shirley Burhenn of El Dorado.
Grandmother of groom is Margaret Haughawout of Phoenix, Ariz.
The bride, given in marriage by her mother and father, wore a custom designed gown with an empire waist, embroidered silk chiffon over silk, chiffon sleeves and a cutaway skirt with ruffled silk train.
Her floor-length chiffon veil was attached to a silk floral comb.
She carried a nosegay of mixed Colorado wild flowers.
The wedding party included Luann Delgado and son Cameron; Jason Burhenn, brother of the bride, and Brandy Orth, all of Wichita.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Great Bend High School.
She is currently pursuing a career in veterinary medicine at Johnson County Community College.
The groom is a 1992 graduate of Wichita East High School.
He is also working toward a career in veterinary medicine at Johnson County Community College.
The couple makes their home in Merriam, Kansas.
