Sayler - 50th
Adrian and Elaine Sayler of St. John will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their children and grandchildren from 2 to 4 p.m. on April 9, 2005 at the Odd Fellows Lodge, 700 E. First St., St. John.
Adrian Sayler and Elaine Burkholder were married at the First Methodist Church in McPherson on April 10, 1955.
Their children are Mike Sayler of St. John; Linn and Gerard Aligo of Tonganoxie; Mark and Tina Sayler of Hutchinson; Laurie and Rick Jenkins of Stratford, Texas; Barb Sayler and Mark Lancaster of La Grange, Ky.; and foster son, Jim Willoughby of Wichita.
They have 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The couple requests no gifts.
They reside at 534 W. 4th Ave., St. John, KS 67576.
Sellens - 67th
Kenneth and Berdena Sellens will celebrate their 67th wedding anniversary.
Ken and Berdena (Bangerter) were married on May 28, 1938, in Hoisington at the Methodist Church.
They have lived most of their married lives in Hoisington and have moved to Great Bend, following the Hoisington tornado of 2001.
They have five children, Judy Harmon of Houston, Texas; Jim Sellens of Wasilla, Alaska; Janice Westrum of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Jolene Boys of Great Bend; and Jayne Klir of Denton, Texas.
They have seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Ken is a retired service manager of Murdy Motors, Hoisington, and Berdena is a retired secretary of the Hoisington Methodist Church.
They would love to hear from family and friends.

Smith - 40th
Randy and Sandy Smith will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner and trip at a later date.
Randy Smith of Hoisington and Sandy Pedigo of Great Bend were married June 4, 1965, at the First United Methodist Church in Great Bend. They have lived their entire married life in Great Bend.
Mr. Smith spent eight years with the Great Bend Police Department and 26 years with the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, and is now working as the coordinator/instructor of Barton County Community College’s Criminal Justice Program.
Mrs. Smith is the manager of Rosewood Gallery in Great Bend. The couple have a son David, and his wife, Heather, and three granddaughters, Kenda, Kaycee and Madison, all of Great Bend.
