Mauler - 45th
Gerald and Lois Mauler recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary at their honeymoon site, Branson, Mo.
Gerald Mauler and Lois Stoss were married June 6, 1960, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Olmitz.
Mr. Mauler has been farming the last 31 years and Mrs. Mauler just retired after 13 years of service at Great Bend Middle School.
They have five children and 13 grandchildren: Kevin and Sheryl Mauler and children, Brandon, Rebecca, Trenton and McKenna of Great Bend; Kathy and Brian Fischer and children, Nakita and Justin of Great Bend; Connie and Bill McKee and children, Samuel and Lindsey of Algonquin, Ill; Jeff and Sally Mauler and children, Hannah and Payton of Great Bend; and Shelly and Deron Taylor and children, Morgan, Sydney and Jackson of Olathe.

Weightman - 67th
Marvin and Norma Weightman, formerly of Great Bend, will celebrate their 67th wedding anniversary on June 19, 2005.
Mr. Weightman will be celebrating his 92nd birthday on June 18 and Mrs. Weightman will be celebrating her 88th birthday on June 20.
Marvin Weightman and the former Norma Eggers were married on June 19, 1938, in Holyrood.

Bowyer - 50th
A reception for the 50th anniversary of Jane and LaVern Bowyer will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on June 5, 2005 at Perkin’s Restaurant in Great Bend.
It is being hosted by Vernie, Ernie and BJ Bowyer.
Jane Homburg and LaVern Bowyer were married June 5, 1955, at St. John Lutheran Church of Ellis.
They ran a dairy farm in Pawnee County until 1986.
From 1986 to November of 2004, they owned and operated the Jayhawker Motel in Great Bend.
