Stephenson - 50th
Lewis and Clarabelle Stephenson of Great Bend will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on Aug. 7, 2005 in the Perkins Conference Room, 2910 10th St. in Great Bend.
Family and friends are invited.
Lewis Stephenson and Clarabelle Rundell were married on Aug. 7, 1955, in Bucklin.
The couple has spent most of their marriage in Great Bend with short stints in Colby and Salina.
Mr. Stephenson is director of surveying for Evans, Bierly & Hutchinson and Mrs. Stephenson is a retired teacher.
The couple has six children and 16 grandchildren and are the parents of the late Tom Stephenson.
The reception is being hosted by the couple’s children and their spouses: Tim and Nathalea Stephenson of Salina, Phillip and Carla Drescher of Overland Park, Taber and Penny Stephenson of Great Bend, Tedd and Carrie Stephenson of Larkspur, Colo., Todd and Teri Stephenson of Hutchinson, and Tyler and Kenna Stephenson of Lee’s Summit, Mo.

Rouser - 40th
Duane and Lee Rouser of Great Bend will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary and Lee’s 75th birthday with a casual come-and-go reception from 2-4 p.m. on July 24, 2005 at the American Legion, 1011 Kansas, Great Bend.
Duane Rouser of Mount Hope and Lee Phillips of Hutchinson were married July 24, 1965, at the United Methodist Church in Mount Hope.
Mr. Rouser is a retired Co-op manager and Mrs. Rouser is a retired school bus driver.
The couple’s children and spouses are: Michele and Les Harmon, Steven Rouser and Dennis Rouser of Great Bend and Denise and Tony Oborny of East Granby, Conn.
The couple also has 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Ruckman - 50th
Walter and Deanna Ruckman celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering on June 25, 2005.
Walter Ruckman and Deanna Pfister were married on June 24, 1955, in Hutchinson.
The couple has spent the majority of their married life in Ellinwood.
The couple has four children: Brenda and husband, Dr. Garry Cowan, of Wichita; Melinda and husband, Kyle Kasselman, of Claflin; Jason Ruckman and wife, Gayle, of Fredonia; and Daron Ruckman and wife, Kelly, of Pleasant Hill, Mo.
The couple also has 14 grandchildren.
